A wonderful place overlooking the lake! Its a perfect place for a family with a car. Once you get to the city center, there are convinient ferries to take you across the lake to the other charming cities.

You need a car as it is within a 50-minute walking distance from the city center. Also, there are no shops anywhere near. At the end of our stay there, we have learned there is a bus near to the city center. I wish we had asked before :)

We had a wonderful stay at Casa de Sofie e Charlote. The house is cozy, clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed. The location is perfect, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. Sofie and Charlote were kind, attentive, and always available to help, which made our stay even more special. We would definitely love to come back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

The view from the apartment is stunning,ryou can really enjoy it from the sun rise till sunset For those who do not want to use their cars daily,it's quite a distance to reach Varenna or any store, coffeeshops or restaurants ,up and down the hill.

The beds where really uncomfortable !

Beautiful view of the lake from the balcony and main room window perfect for a glass of wine . Garage parking and all of the rooms are a good size . Livio was very quick to respond and the instructions for entry with video were excellent.

We walked in to Verenna along the Patriarchs way , easily 4+ km not to mention lots of steps up and down . Lovely walk in October but would be a challenge in hotter months . The walk is very poorly signposted but worth the effort and infinitely safer than walking along the road which for the most part had no pedestrian footpath .

Great view . Beds were very comfortable. House was updated and very nice .

There were not enough bath towels. We had to use the same ones over and over for 3 days . Also we encountered a couple of big spiders . Maybe needs to get exterminator .

The sofa bed is not comfortable.

It was a good size apartment and good view.

It was old and bathroom was so smelly, kitchen was dirty - including fridge. Location a little far from station or main area you need a car or vehicle as the location is on a hill and we struggled bringer our luggage up the hill. The property manager wasn’t very nice or helpful. We asked for help with getting transfers/ taxis, wasn’t helpful. Told us to ask the guy upstairs and didn’t give us a number or anything we had to knock on the guys door.

Clean and convenient location

Just small details need improvement, for example: Parking in the garage (as requested) was impossible due to a large van parked in the courtyard. The wardrobe hanging rail collapsed and needed to be repaired. There is only one mirror in the property. The small bathroom mirror. The broken electrical outlet by the main bed. The worn cable on the iron. Maybe a few basics in the fridge would helpful for late arrivals (milk, tea, coffee etc) Only small things preventing a 10/10 rating.

Absolutely amazing house with breathtaking views overlooking Lake Como. The house was spottles on arrival and smelled amazing. The bed was super cozy, kitches had everything need it if wanted to prepare a meal, there wede loads of infos with places to visit and eat. Loved spending time outside, on the balcony, in the evening sipping a glass of wine. Thank you

It was clean, quiet, easy check-in instructions, close to town and they supplied oil, vinegar and salt. This made it easy to cook.

No air conditioning and no napkins or hand towels in the kitchen. Only a solo drying towel

Accommodation in a quiet location, but in a convenient location for the trips to the surrounding area. The town of Varenna accessible by a 20 minute walk. Perfect view of the lake. The apartment was well equipped, the kitchen had everything needed for simple cooking. Immaculately clean and tidy. I can recommend.

Very spacious property with an amazing view. Beautiful deck to sit and enjoy the lake views.

Very long distance from the train station and difficult to get a cab. Also a long walk into Varenna but doable if you're used to walking. The view was worth the walk.

Slightly aged accommodation but functional

We enjoyed our stay as it was great value for what we paid. Little bit older property but beautiful views of sunset. Only issue was difficulties finding transportation into town as we had no vehicle and a very few taxis available in Varenna.

Very Far from town. Hard to find taxis to and from this location.

Great View. Probably a good accommodation for young people or a young family interested in a beach vacation.

Amenities less than in other similarly priced apartments.

The location was perfect….quiet area and not to far from main city of Varenna. The amenities also was nice to cook our own meals saving on spending.

The stairs had no railing or smoke Co2 detectors yet that’s because I’m from country where that’s expected… this is not a negative comment just an observation.

The view was spectacular and the apartment was good value for money.

The walk into the square was longer than stated, it was more like 45 minutes either way and taxis were not easy to obtain, although if guests are fit enough it isn't too much of a problem and it is a very pleasant walk.
