The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety and quality. It would have been more convenient to have a room on the ground floor since we were traveling with a baby, but it was still manageable. The room was beautiful and clean, and everyone was very friendly and helpful. However, in my opinion, the overall price was a bit too high for what you get—but still, it was a pleasant stay.

ItalyThe location is ideal if you wish to visit the Vendicari Natural Reserve. The breakfast was very good, offers typical Sicilian products and varies every day. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and was able to give us a lot of interesting recommendations of activities, places to visit in the surroundings and restaurants.

Casa Vendicari was absolutely gorgeous and set right on the edge of the Vendicari Nature Reserve. We loved being able to get up and walk right out the door to the reserve to explore the trails and beaches all day. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful to us, going out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The facilities are beautifully designed and cared for. We loved our time here.

SpainUnfortunately, the experience was disappointing in many ways. The room had no air conditioning, only a fan coil system, which was completely insufficient in the July heat. Most power outlets didn’t work, and the general level of comfort was far below expectations. The check-in was rushed, with no information provided about the property or the nearby Vendicari Reserve, which was one of the main reasons we chose the location. Even before arrival, communication was dismissive, and no help was offered regarding transport despite our questions. Once there, we were constantly pressured to eat at Il Baglietto, a restaurant owned by the same management. The staff messaged us repeatedly via WhatsApp, even after we asked in person to not be contacted about lunch or dinner unless we requested it. Eventually, I had to block the number to stop the messages — not what you expect when you’re trying to relax. There was a constant presence of non-guests — people who appeared to be friends or family of the owner — creating noise during breakfast and around the property. One morning, a cake at breakfast was full of ants, and no one noticed until a guest pointed it out. Even the owner himself was using the pool while making loud speakerphone calls, which disturbed everyone trying to enjoy some peace. Connectivity was another issue: Wi-Fi was extremely poor, and 5G/mobile signal was barely available. Doors to common areas were left open constantly, making the indoor areas hot and exposed. Overall, the management seems more concerned with promoting their restaurant than guest comfort, and the general environment felt disorganized and invasive. We left more tired than when we arrived.
The natural setting is truly beautiful — peaceful, surrounded by nature, and far from the noise of the city. The location itself has a lot of potential.
