Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

IraqThere was no WI-FI convergence inside the room. Even when I came closer to the router.. it was trying to connect without internet. Also, there are horrible mobile network conversions.
Because of its location inside the park..

GermanyUnfortunately the WiFi was not working well in the room.
The hotel is in the regional park, not far away from the coast. The location is nice, you feel surrounded by nature. It is also very calm. The rooms were simple, but had the air conditioning and were spacious. The breakfast was good as well. So all in all, very good price for the value.

AustraliaNice hotel in the middle of a forest. You’ll love it if you like nature. However there’s no mobile phone signal, although the Wi-Fi signal was very good in the room. The room was very clean, and breakfast was adequate (typical Italian, fresh coffee and croissants and jam). No outside noise. The kids had a bunk bed in a separate area to us in the room, with a door in the middle, which was perfect. I would recommend the hotel if you want somewhere cheap and you have a car.

United StatesThe room had no air conditioning or screens on the doors, so when we opened the doors to get some relief from the heat, we then had to deal with many flies, gnats, and mosquitos which disrupted sleep and overall enjoyment. The restaurant was slow in dinner service and the food was bland and unimaginative, avoid if you can; there are many better options in nearby Pisa.
The location is beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. We love the doors opening to the horse field and being in the forest. The accommodations were comfortable and rustic. The hotel's breakfast service (separate from the restaurant) had many options and was really yummy.

GermanyThe menu of the restaurant is *very* limited. We went to Pisa for dinner.
The location in the middle of the parc is several kilometers away from anything else and thus very quiet. If this is what you are looking for you are at the right place.

United KingdomNo air con - but there is a fan in the room. Bar shut early, but could still get a beer from the restaurant
Location location location. Loved it as in the national park. Take a torch and have a look around after dark. We saw wild boar, and lots of eyes in the woods shining in the torchlight (animals). Staff were also very helpful at reception and in the restaurant.

TurkeyAs it is an old building walking at night makes noise on the floor. The ventilators were not enough to make the room cool. Breakfast had limited options.
It is a historical and interesting place located in a big park. We reached the hotel at night and we can see the stars clearly. We also see two gazelles. In the morning we see many horses. I advice this hotel if you are bored of regular hotels.

United KingdomI was there with my wife and my kids and felt very welcomed by the hotel staff and manager Giuliano who gave us many useful tips regarding our trip to the city. Rooms are nice and clean and they are in a beautiful historical graded building in the middle of the San Rossore park. The ideal place for anyone looking for a lovely escape to nature near the lovely city of Pisa.

United KingdomThe estate needs some care taking! Slightly bit run down, bathroom was a bit shoddy, sometimes no hot water. Restaurant was a bit slow moving, maybe was a bit busy at the time for their capability. Pay attention under the pine trees and watch out for the falling pine cones! They’re are huge, can cause some damage to you’re car or yourself.
Fantastic location, nice surroundings! Special thanks to Giuliano at the reception for he’s help! The room was pretty basic although big, and comfy enough for four of us! Breakfast and dinner was plenty, nothing special, fairly priced. Ideal place for horse lovers, hence there’s plenty at the paddocks at the rear.
