We had a wonderful time at Cascabella Taormina with our family of four. The authentic design made us feel like locals and the apartment was clean, well-equipped and very comfortable. We especially loved the terrace – perfect for relaxing after a day in the city or at the beach. The apartment is basically located in the city centre and the cable car is just a few minutes walk, so getting to the beach was also easy. Would definitely book again and recommend to friends!

The interior design was to an incredible standard, far better than anywhere else we looked at. Classic Sicilian design. The location was perfect for everything just a 5 minute walk to the Main Street. The city is absolutely beautiful. The property was super clean with 4 floors all to yourself including balconies. The host was attentive and informative throughout.

Location 10/10, absolutely perfect. In the heart of the town but not too crowded, and still felt peaceful. Easy & short walk to everything that you need. The bedrooms both had great aircon and a bathroom. Our favourite part of the apartment was the gorgeous balcony terrace at the top! Highly recommend this place.

Loved staying here with our friends. Gorgeous house right in the centre of everything and yet really quiet. The roof top terrace was brilliant to catch the breeze with a glass of wine.

The house is just gorgeous! So stylish and cozy, even if you are in the middle of Taormina you kind of want to enjoy the house as well! Kitchen, terrace, rooms… everything beautiful! We got many good tips from our host where to eat, or shop etc! We all absolutely loved the place. Even small things like water or milk and juice in the fridge! So lovely 💙

To get from kitchen to roof terrace you have to go up and down 3 sets of stairs which was slightly tricky carrying plates / cutlery etc (though this was a minor issue). There isn't really any space for an indoor relaxation area i.e. sofa, comfy chairs etc so you have to sit at the kitchen table or outside - again a small issue only.

Wonderful stay - house is on 4 floors and is extremely spacious. Roof terrace is amazing, bedrooms x 2 both ensuite, very comfortable. Good air con. Host was lovely and check in was easy. Property is extremely well situated. Overall good value for money given amenities and location. I would definitely stay again.

Absolutely beautiful property, very nicely furnished, lovely linen, well stocked in terms of kitchen supplies such as glasses, cups, wine glasses etc. coffee and tea. Each bedroom had lovely bathroom. Air conditioning in living room/kitchen and each bedroom which worked really well as temps were low 30s outside. The terrace on the 4th floor (lots of stairs) was amazing and such a nice place to chill. The location is very central and yet quiet. We loved staying here for 3 nights, one of the nicest in our 4 weeks in Italy so far. The host Santi gave us recommendations and they were all great. We didn’t want to leave!

The whole stay was perfect - great contact with the owner, in the house you will find everything you could possibly need on vacation. Location in the very center of Taormina, close to everything. We can definitely recommend this place!

There are a lot of stairs (which may be a struggle with large suitcases or if you have mobility issues) and the wifi does not work up on the terrace.

The apartment is compact and laid out over four levels. It was very clean, cheerfully decorated and very comfortable. Although centrally located in Taormina (only steps to restaurants, bars and shops), it was very quiet and the terrace on the top floor is charming (there is even a second fridge up there to store drinks). The apartment is fully equipped, with plenty of crockery, cutlery and some basic condiments. Access was clearly explained by Santi, who also provided helpful suggestions for restaurants and where to go for supplies.

What’s not to like!!! Absolutely beautiful property, spotlessly clean, excellent facilities, extremely comfortable (mattresses on beds are exceptional), perfect location, the list could go on and on 😁 excellent communication and assistance from Santi. Would love to return and would highly recommend to anybody. If you are considering this property don’t waste time thinking about it, book it before it becomes unavailable you will not regret it!

Honestly...nothing!

Location was right in the heart of everything but so quiet when windows closed. Well stocked kitchen. Could not ask for anything else. We cooked, made coffee on the stove. Ate breakfast on rooftop balcony. Just amazing! Host was so helpful and accommodating, supplying us with all venues around Taormina. Apartment was clean, homely and inviting. Stairs, stairs, stairs 😀 That was challenging but we managed 😀 Wanted to extend stay but it is obs so popular we could not stay longer!

Casabella is just that, a beautiful home. Nestled a few minutes walk off the main thoroughfare Corso Umberto, it offers a quiet retreat from the busy tourist streets. Santi is super nice, kind and responsive. I had a couple of glitches when I first arrived and without hesitancy he stopped by again later on my check in day to make sure all was well, and I really appreciated that. My stay was enjoyable. The casa is very clean and comfortable. Nice fresh linens, very comfortable bed, a quiet peaceful sleep, beautiful tile floors and wooden armoires, a soft blanket for cozy time spent on the rooftop deck enjoying morning espresso, reading and writing and listening to the sounds of the neighborhood. And much to my delight, a beautiful baby blue bialetti expresso maker and cups and expresso coffee and a fresh fruit and vegetable merchant right outside the door! Very close to the people’s park, with its quiet beauty and sweeping views of the sea and Mt. Etna. Also close to the Teatre Antico which is a must see. Great restaurants and of course Bam Bar is very nearby for those gelato/granita evening snacks al fresco. All is all a great and very comfortable stay.

This house is incredible. I had assumed from the photos in advance it was very traditional, older style that had been very well maintained, but on arrival I was pleasantly amazed to see it’s a very modern, recent renovation that’s just been exceptionally well done! It is perfectly located for everything really, shops, restaurants, bars. The famous Bam Bar is just round the corner. The house is spotlessly clean, incredibly comfortable and one of the best equipped places we have stayed on our tour round Sicily. The host was super helpful and friendly. There is not one thing I can say to put you off this house. It is incredible. Book it. You won’t regret it. The house is located in the old town and is not accessible by car. We parked in a public multi storey and used the free shuttle bus to access the house. Not an issue for us at all but something others may need to consider.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that we had the entire building to ourselves, not just the apartment. Every floor, from the kitchen to the terrace, was beautifully decorated with stunning local patterns. The balconies and terraces were exceptional—lush with plants, equipped with comfortable chairs, and even a blanket for cooler evenings. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The host was incredibly accommodating, promptly fulfilling any additional requests we had. I highly recommend this property!
