Everything exceeded our expectations. The owner/ innkeeper, Erna was friendly and had an incredible attention to detail. Our room was amazing, with beautiful views of Sant'Angelo in Colle and the surrounding vineyards. Every morning, breakfast was a treat. There was cooked to order eggs, fresh fruit, meat and cheeses, fresh pastries and local jams and honey. My favorite were the fresh figs, stuffed with a walnut and a little drizzle of honey. Absolutely decadent! The staff was professional and helpful. Evenings overlooking the vineyards, watching the sunset, made for a magical experience. It is a short walk into the charming town and there are hiking trails close by. My husband and I loved it!

The only issue with my stay here is that there was a footboard on the bed, and I don't believe the photos indicated on. This made it very uncomfortable as a tall person.

The photos on booking do not do justice to how beautiful the place is. The pool and the grounds are breathtaking. The staff is very welcoming.

There is nothing better I could imagine this place doing. Everything went smooth and we are already planning on returning some time in the future. I guess if I had to choose something, maybe they put out wine and cheese in the afternoons during the weekends possibly. We stayed in a place that offered this small amenity and it was greatly appreciated.

The location was perfect and close to places we planned on going. The breakfast was perfect everyday. The hosts had a good breakfast spread and also asked if we needed anything else as far as coffee or any specialty dishes.

Absolutely beautiful! The location is perfect for enjoying everything Tuscany has to offer. Erna is an extraordinary host who went above and beyond for our every request… including buying access to SkySports so my husband could watch the Rider Cup during our stay. I really can’t say enough good things about this property and we will definitely come back!

We wish we could have stayed longer- zero complaints!

Castel Brunello was our favorite stay during our 2 week road trip in Tuscany. It is so much more beautiful and picturesque than what is conveyed online. Erna and her family are amazing hosts and caretakers of the property. She was so helpful with property information, recommendations, setting up wine tours and restaurant reccs (we loved Leccio!) We are English speakers and never had any issues communicating with Erna or Brunello’s staff. Let Erna set up restaurant reservations in the village. There is nothing like relaxing after a long day and wandering up to town for dinner in the square- so romantic and authentically European. The pool area has many spaces to relax, read and eat. Breakfast was wonderful and appreciated before heading off on an adventure. The omelet was delicious- along with a full continental breakfast (yogurt bar, breads, sweets, etc). We appreciated the washer in the room and the free/easy parking. A 10/10 - let Erna treat you like family- she hosts with the perfect mix of provided privacy and nurturing warmth. Highly recommend!

The Manager Erna Dorman was extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent room with superb facilities, efficient and quiet air conditioning, very good breakfast and very helpful in arranging local dinner bookings and hair appointments.

Absolutely lovely! Property was so charming, short walk to a few lovely restaurants (Leccio and Pozzo) in the local village and a quick 10 minute drive to Montalcino. Pool was lovely, sunset vineyard views were epic and the breakfast spread was huge! Paul and Erna were the best hosts!

Property and apartments are beautiful and very clean Lovely having Spritz in front of the sunset and closed to the swimming pool
