Very friendly and welcoming staff. The accommodation itself was lovely with an amazing view of the Tuscany landscape. Breakfast was amazing and there were some variations in the selection of food between the days. The swimming pool looked inviting but because the weather was still cold, we did not use it. Instead, we spent time in the private sauna which was relaxing and therapeutic.

Nothing - 4 nights wasn't enough!

To truly experience Castellina in Chianti, look no further than Castello La Leccia! The historical building, the wineries, olive trees and beautiful rooms is everything you could dream of and more. The restaurant particularly the staff was incredible and made our stay feel like home! The facilities are excellent and the views are what makes this stay worth every cent!

Exceptional location, wonderful facilities and really brilliant staff. Guilio the chef was fab and the cooking course was lots of fun. The food in the restaurant was also brilliant with lots of local produce. The wine was also delicious and the tour was superb. Would definitely want to stay again and we were very sad to have to go home!

We had a lovely stay at Castello La Leccia. We have stayed in Tuscany many times but have never come across a Boutique Hotel that matches the Castello for location, facilities, exceptional staff and food. We cannot speak too highly of our stay.

Unfortunately we did not know that an event was being planned for our final evening so we did not get to do the wine tour. Wish we had known ahead of time but we were able to partake in a concert in the chapel which was also great.

Probably the best view in all of Tuscany. This castle hotel is built high up on the hill with its restaurant overlooking the most majestic scenery in the region. With delicious wine and yummy local foods combined with a beautiful pool and super lovely staff, you will not be disappointed.

We loved everything! The place is a true paradise. The calm and peaceful energy. It is a place with a history, but with great sense of romance. The staff at the desk office, the people who work in the dinning area for breakfast and dinner are jewels of this place. And the food - pure perfection. The room was spacious, warm and modern, yet like in castle 😍 Always spotlessly clean, so greetings to the housekeeping staff as well. The view all around from property was breathtaking. Honestly, we thought places like this are only seen in movies 😁 Coming back for sure! ❤️

It is simply one of the best places to stay in Chianti, Tuscany. Beautiful castle, beautiful surroundings, class service, friendly personnel. I can’t think of anything that I did not like. 30 min from Siena, 60 min from Florence. From there, you can easily visit all interesting places in Tuscany. We will be back (in fact, this was already our second time).

The staff were so helpful. We got into a mini accident during our stay (outside the property), the property picked us up and did everything to help us and accommodate our needs. The staff are friendly, professional and extremely kind. Not to mention the property is extremely clean and well maintained. The pool and the view was amazing. The food in the restaurant was really good too.

The ONLY complaint I have was people smoking. I had to leave the pool one time because someone started smoking right next to us. At dinner a patron sat down at the table next to us and enjoyed a cigarette throughout his meal. I would have preferred not to have the second hand smoke.

It was gorgeous and a nice relaxing place to stay. Very private, almost like a retreat.

Everything was beautiful!

The property is gorgeous and serene. Set back on a quiet hilltop with unparalleled views among gorgeous gardens in an historic old castle, with a lovely pool at that. At night it becomes a beautiful setting to watch the sunset and the stars and listen to the birds.
