I loved my stay at Catania Central Rooms. The location of the hotel is great, the room was very nice and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I recommend it 100%!

The breakfast was very disappointing. One coffee, one croissant. That’s it! And we had to walk down the road from the hotel to get it.

Voucher given for breakfast at a cafe nearby. Staff at the café were unfriendly and it was hard to understand what we could eat. Basically we could have a croissant and a cup of coffee/tea. We only used one of the three vouchers and tried different breakfast places for the other two mornings.

Big rooms, comfortable beds. Hot powerful shower. Clean. Sky TV available. Aircon was good .

- The room was a great size and the bed was comfy. The ensuite was lovely and the shower was spot on. - The staff were brilliant and really accommodating. We didn't speak any Italian and all 3 of the staff we spoke to were very kind to us about it, offering places to go in the city and restaurants to eat at. They gave us a map and told us exactly where to go. -The location was perfect and easy for us to navigate. -The breakfast was nice, a local cafe gives you a nice option to pick from.

I was awoken more than a few times by people chatting in the hallway and on the reception balcony so it was difficult to enjoy a proper nights sleep.

The toilet was making noises everytime we used the shower or the sink and it was a little bit annoying but not too bad.

The location was excellent, right in the center of Catania. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean.

The entrance to the building is through a courtyard, which is absolutely fine, the problem was that heavy doors are slammed, and at night they're very loud, making it easy to wake up with each slam. The doors, as well as the elevator doors, should have signs on the doors, asking residents and guests alike, to accompany doors, not to slam them.

The room we stayed in was positioned towards the street, and unfortunately, at night, you could hear noisy cars or people. The smell from the bathroom was not pleasant, and if I turned on the fan, which should have helped, the situation worsened. Take into account the fact that it is an old building, and the hotel itself is an old one. The biggest problem was the breakfast, which was not served at the location but in a restaurant close to the hotel, a 2-minute walk away, not an issue. We had 3 breakfasts included, but after the first morning, we chose not to return for the next 2 mornings. The most horrible breakfast. Unfortunately, the collaboration of this hotel with that bistro does the hotel a considerable disservice. Frozen pastries cooked in an oven, terrible coffee in a dirty mug, and a glass of tap water. We do not recommend the option with breakfast included.

Too many keys, but not a big problem. Inner courtyard view can be a bit dirty at times but that's not what you're here for.

Location at via etnea but just out of the busiest area is excellent. Staff is friendly. Room is spacious and comfortable.
