The property was billed as eclectic but I’d say it’s closer to outdated and run down. The room was spacious but we kept waiting for the creepy crawlers to appear (they didn’t). Uncomfortable beds and dirty / moldy shower. Breakfast was included and was bread, croissants, fruit and some cold cuts that were warm by the time we got to them. Taxi to airport ran €30 for less than a ten minute ride. Underwhelming and not a great nights rest before an early flight.

The mattress was too hard, but that is my bugaboo. I was able to compensate by using an extra blanket.

The decor is very eclectic and fun to look at. I had to leave too early to try breakfast. There is a restaurant, so might try it next time. There is a shuttle(8 euros) to the airport, which is about 10 minutes away. This hotel is very convenient for access to Fiumicing (FCO).

Toilet was very noisy and there came music all the time outside of the room. Also people were talking all night long in the hotel and outside of it. The noisy toilet was the biggest problem.

It was cheap and very near airport. Airport shuttle from hotel to airport was cheap and very easy. Hotel cat was cute.

Old A/C. It could be could during winter season. Remote control was not working. The room can be away about 100m-150m away from reception in bungalo type building in case Hotel is overbooked. Noisy rooms, no sound insulation. Turbulence in water pipelines,

Close location to airport. Shuttel bus to drop off was for 14 people 6EUR. Recommended for overnight transit passengers to stretch the legs befor next flight.

Mold in the bathroom (in places where you are not expecting it), smelly bathroom (felt even in the room, with closed doors to the bathroom), warm water was the maximum in the tiny shower. It was around 0 degrees outside, room was not heated and it took me 5 hours to warm it. Breakfast? Narrow selection and... plastic plates, forks, knives and spoons.

Location. Cheap shuttle bus to the airport (6€). Cat in the lobby. Spacious room. Excursion of old, American cars.

this is really a motel near the road, close to the airport (really only plus) the external rooms are located in a structre across a parking lot, looks scary and unsecure. This looks more like a youth hostel than a hotel.

The hotel has a quaint, cluttered and dark feel to it with its weird mixture of styles. There were no shops, restaurants or access to public transport in the area and the staff didn't speak much English apart from the receptionist. There were two other areas of accommodation away from the main hotel which made us feel a little isolated and had very poor Wi-Fi. The ornate-style bedhead had seen better days as all of the vinyl covering had cracked and peeled which gave an grubby look to an otherwise okay room.

Hotel is reasonably close to the airport and has a shuttle bus for 6 euros per person. The rooms were clean and comfy. The continental breakfast was fine with nice pastries and coffee. The staff were pleasant and helpful despite their limited English. Good value for money.

The distance from the airport was further than we expected, therefore extra taxi cost. If the hotel could have arranged a shuttle to collect us from the airport to Chopin that would have been helpful.

The staff were friendly. Liked the collectors museum. Found the guest and the chef who ate together on the night we were there very friendly and polite. They even went to the trouble to bid us farewell the next day.

We wanted the place to stay overnight near airport because the departure was at 7.30. In the hotel we arrived before noon having no problems to leave the things etc. in the room. We had time enough to visit Rooma during afternoon. We had no time for breakfast and the car had to return. So nothing to say about the breakfast by our own experiments. The Fiumicino-Ostia area has an unbelievably bad road system. If you're on the wrong side of the main road, getting to the Hotel Chopin (even with a GPS) can be a nightmare.

The main thing about this place is that it is unbelievably funky--pseudo-antique furniture, a lobby full of old model motercycles and cars, even an airplane, lots of kitschy art in ornate kitschy frames. Some of the rooms have imitation four-posters. The annex has an ornate goldfish pool, a palm tree oasis. Almost everything is a chuckle, and the staff is friendly, with a Polish theme. Also the price is very reasonable, and the attached restaurant (pseudo-Renaissance, too) serves acceptable cheap suppers.

Hotel located facing a highway and there is no pedestrian crossing. You have to walk at least 1km to find a crossing. (However hotel staff encourage you to cross the road in unsafe manner. Please don't take a chance!) Also there aren't any restaurants, super market, shopping mall, etcc....neither any tourist attraction place. Hotel breakfast is not value for money at all. ( Though it's included to your bill) As per hotel policy bed sheets will change in every 3 days.

Only thing is it's very closed to Airport. Nothing else.

The location was reasonable for access to the main rome airport. There air a few local places to eat within walking distance if you do not want to eat at the hotel. Shuttle to the airport is ok but a little over priced. Not a place to stay if you wish to visit rome city

I think that the staff is full of wonderful, caring people. The owners are very special, friendly people who show appreciation and provide a great service to tourists. The hotel is marvelous, comfortable, convenient, and the food is fantastic. Flavia is quite a chef. I highly recommend staying there.

The male receptionist when we checked in was rude, the young ones who replaced him were were nice and polite. We stayed at the annex which is located around the corner. The building was wide open with no staff present.

The lady at the breakfast place was helpful. The room was clean.

The bed was extremely uncomfortable (I don't know if this is true for all rooms though). very basic, a bit sleazy, not for leisure in any way.

location near the airport, relatively easy to get there at night. There is a fine shuttle from the hotel to the airport (6euros).

Location on the side of the highway to Rome Fiumicino airport, very noisy even if the rooms are well isolated.

Close to the airport but shuttle is not free. Amazing place.....the most kitsch I have ever seen with the owners classic car collections and Chopin's time massive antique pieces in the middle of the dining areas....very nice and helpful man at the reception....

Location wasn't great as there weren't many shops nearby so that could be a downside if u are looking for places to visit, you will need to catch trains or shuttle buses.

Staff were brilliant, hotel was gorgeous they had amazing vintage cars, statues and ornaments. Room was very big, clean and the facilities provided was very good too. Breakfast was good too

We stayed here just one night, because Our flight arrived late at night and only on the next day, could we pick up our rental car. Arriving at night to this place is scary. The Hotel is a little dark, and with all that old furniture and statues and old cars inside the hotel.. It's creepy. When entering the room, it look like an old canteen, with the florescent squared lamps and squared plafond ceiling, old, with mold in some parts and some squares where broken. The douche has plastic curtains, with some black spots. There was an electric connection next to the douche. The bed was awful and luckily, after an examination for bedbugs, I only found 2 spiders. Breakfast... Well, I won't talk much about this, because there is just one word to define it... Horrible. And it was horrible served on plastic everything, plates, knife, cups.

There was absolutely nothing to like. The location was probably the plus point of this hotel due to the proximity to the Fiumicino Airport.

There is no swimming pool, despite what the website says. Breakfast was very poor. Hotel is near the airport, but otherwise nothing close to it. When we arrived on Sunday evening, there was no food. They directed us to a bar round the back which was full of smoke and had a very limited menu. We didn't eat.

    Room was clean and comfortable

The room smelled like cigarrette smoke even when I requested a non-smoking room. The breakfast is really basic, and the hotel is a bit expensive for the type of hotel it is.

I really like that they are really close to the airport. They have an effcient transportation to it, although they charge for it (just 6 euros, it's not that much).
