The room was large, clean and bathroom good. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is about 5-10 min walk to Refredi station and 1 stop to centre of Florence.

After cleaning the morning after checking in, our door was left open. This was a massive security issue for us as there was no safe to put devices/passports in, but the staff brushed it off. Additionally, the bathroom window did not lock.

The breakfast (with great coffee) was free despite not being advertised as such. The staff were friendly and most were bilingual. The accomodation was exceptionally clean.

Beds a bit on the hard side

Great Location. Less than 10 min walk to the train which is one station from Florence (5min). Parking is available on the street. Some free, some by the meter.

It is an old hotel, which is quite far from Florence city center - can be approached only by train. However the train station is very close, and the ticket was cheap. This hotel doesn't have any aircondition facilities, so it can get hot during the summer. It didn't ruin our stay for us, as we needed a hotel with parking for our car, which is difficult to find for free in Florence.

We were offered free breakfast, thank you very much! The center of Florence is very close by train - but you need to take the train, just for 1 stop though. There is a lot of free parking in the street The staff was amazing!

Mosquitoes is the great enemy. Property is a bit old that needed renovation. Add something for the breakfast.

The staff are very accommodating and they speak in languages that guest can understand.

Room is literally full of mosquitos! Never seen so much mosquitos in one place 😖 The room does not have AC, so during hot days (and we were there in mid Sept) you can not sleep, because you don’t have air….

Location. It is the best thing about this place - just 10 min walk and you are at Rifredo station, from which you have only 5 min to Santa Maria Novella station.

Needed to catch train to historical centre

Would definitely have needed air condition!!!!! Had to get my night gown wet to be able to sleep since it got to 40 degrees Celsius (over 100 degrees Fahrenheit)

Toilet flashing very very loud. No kettle and mugs to do your own tea or coffee during the day/evening. There is no communal kitchen area either. Very loud in the morning so if you after a good sleep that is not hotel for you. The second night we were awake before 7 am by very loud child and his parents ( probably cleaning people). There were there for long time so early wake up. There were also some building works starting a little later at the back of the building so that will wake you up as well.

Very clean hotel and very friendly staff. Easy to get to centre catching train which takes only about 5 mins and cost 1,50. We were offered coffee and a little breakfast which was was very kind. Was very good value for the money.

Its a bit outside of the city in between apartments, not very beautiful area. Its also a bit loud.

Breakfast is coffee, a croissant from the store, and jam.

Excellent value for money. The room has a retro style, so it is not equipped with new furniture, but everything is very cozy, neat, and clean. The room at the beginning of April was very warm, which is not common in all apartments in Italy at this time of year. The administrator and the person responsible for breakfast are quite friendly and helpful. If you take the train, it will take 10-15 minutes to get to the center from this place
