Outside wasn’t fancy but inside was more important.

Conveniently located near train station and airport tram. Close to restaurants and attractions. Very comfortable room. Large bathroom. Staff was wonderful and helpful. Of the 2 places I stayed in Florence, the was the best all around. Better rate and larger room. Definitely would stay here again. Easy to get in and out when flying from airport or by train.

Everything was good.

The hotel is clean, cozy, and located close to a train station and the city center. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The bed is wide and comfortable. Would stay here again.

The beds and pillows could be more comfortable. The double beds are two single beds stuck together which isn't very comfortable. Their wifi is free but it doesn't really work that well. At night you could hear people in the stairs and corridors and in the morning I could hear the alarm of someone in a nearby room.

The location of the hotel is great. The room and toilets are very clean. The people working at the reception were always very nice and there was someone there at all times. When the windows are closed no noise comes in from the outside.

The stay at this hotel was amazing. To my surprise,upon arrival I was offered an upgraded room, which had a balcony to the tiny courtyard. The people at the reception were amazing. The location is perfect: a few minutes walk to Santa Maria Novella church, San Lorenzo basilica and the Duomo. recommended.

Breakfast was pricey, I opted not to get it. I wish there had been a coffee option in the room.

The rooms are small.

The location is 6mins walk from the train station and very close to main city attractions. The front desk staff is very nice and helpful. Heating in the room is great!

The wifi is really bad. It keeps getting disconnected every 15 minutes and you have to log back in every time. If you are a digital nomad then this is a problem. I couldn't get my work done sufficiently. But if you just need the wifi for social media you may be okay tho. Also, I know people mentioned this in other reviews, the walls are incredibly thin. The people in next room spent time in the bathroom till late (till 2 AM), that kept me up, because I could hear everything to the point that they may as well be in my room doing whatever they were doing. My earplugs didn't help, then I resorted to a double pillow to cover my ears. I wanted to scream. It was awful.

It is a beautiful vintage and Tuscan style hotel with nice artwork on the walls. I specifically walked around to look at artworks. The staff was incredible. Special thanks to Bett (I might not be spelling her name correctly 😊) and Salim. They were so helpful and speak excellent English. 24 hour reception service. My room was extra large double room with a window to the street. The room has a good size bathtub which was crucial for me during cold days. There is an electric kettle in the room, another crucial item to have for hot teas during cold days. The room was outdated but clean, the curtains were so old and dirty. The room was spacious enough (it's Europe).

I could hear EVERYTHING in the adjoining rooms beside and above my room. This was sometimes uncomfortable in the extreme although it changed somewhat depending on what other guests were there during my 7-day stay. Other people's bathrooms were ALWAYS graphically audible, something I hope to never experience again.

Breakfast was lovely and included enough variety for someone who is a gluten free vegetarian. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff was exceptionally kind, thoughtful and helpful. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and the double-hung windows kept the room quiet from the street sounds.

I recommend this hotel. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was great. And it is a great location for sightseeing

Excellent location and quiet at night

The location is simply outstanding, right next to San Lorenzo market and close to Santa Maria Novella train station as well as the city centre. Plenty of restaurants nearby and lovely staff. The hotel is very clean and rooms are provided with mini fridge as well as a very much appreciated kettle.

Great location. The hotel is located a 5-minute walk from the railway station of Santa Maria Novella and at the same time close to the main attractions of Florence Galeria Ufirizi is a 10-minute walk away, the Duomo is 5 minutes away. The area is safe, there are a lot of cozy cafes and restaurants nearby. The room is spacious, with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom. Very clean. The hotel staff does everything to make your stay at the hotel perfect. We arrived at 10 a.m. and were immediately checked in, with the announced check-in at 2 p.m. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone and I will definitely come back too.
