Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Nothing to complain about!
Extremely clean and comfortable apartment with plenty of space- felt like at home! The place was spotless, well organised with a beautiful smell throughout. Everything you may need was there. The beds were comfy so we slept well. The location is fantastic, not too busy, but facilities were nearby. Really good base for exploring lake Como. The air-con kept us cool during warm days. We will be back!

The host is helpful and tell you everything - but mainly just in Italien language.
The flat is equipped very well, and has an excellent location. The parking opportunity is very advantageous even though you have to pay for it during the day. The host is helpful.

Very big apartment, cozy and fully equipped. Tha parking is right in front of the window in the yard and you can use easypark to pay per hour. The apartment really has everything, very good kitchen, bathroom with washing machine and detergents, TV with YouTube and is very close to como center.

The location is amazing. So close to the lake, whilst feeling incredibly quiet and secluded. The host met us at the door at check in and was incredibly helpful. Also ideal if you're visiting the Como football stadium!

Parking is not included if you bring a car. However there is a blue zone in front, it is only 1€/h during day time, and free at night.
Everything was great. Tiziana (the host) was very attentive and kind all the time. Apartment was very clean, with all amenities and all types of utensils in the kitchen, with dishwasher, etc. Good WiFi, location only 10 minutes walking from historical center.

Beautiful apartment, decorated to highest standard, spotlessly clean and comfortable, Great location, few minutes from lake and near centre. Lovely touches from the fantastic hostess, Tiziana who made our stay extra special. All in all a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend a stay here when visiting Lake Como

We loved the location of the apartment, the apartment itself was really nice, modern, quiet, and very well equipped, but above all, we really loved our host who was very helpful and very kind. She was there to answer any question we had, and she helped and gave us advice on traveling around the area. She immediately responded to all our questions.

Tizianna is a lovely person and she was very helpful. The apartment is new and clean with everything we needed. The location is peaceful. It is away from the tourism hot spots, we liked this too.

Very spacious, fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Beautiful, clean and comfortable. The host is amazing and extremely kind. She picked us up from the train station and even left us Christmas presents. Nothing was too much trouble for the host and we will definitely be back to stay again. Our stay in Como was amazing! Grazie mille!
