Air conditioning did not work 3 nights out of four

Ceiling height in one of our bathrooms meant that taking a shower was difficult for tall people. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Fantastic location but views from bedrooms are non-existant (no problem for us but worth knowing). I would definitely stay here again though.

Room was small, quite dark, there was no kettle to boil water and the double bed was two mattresses. It was a bit too expensive for the quality.

It was literally next to plaza San Marco.

Hallways are old, dark and dirty. Room needs upkeep specially rugs. Bathroom did not have a shower curtain that makes it very uncomfortable to take a bath. The hair dryer is one of those really old ones that are attached to the wall that don’t dry hair at all. No hair conditioner. You need to go up a flight of stairs to get to reception and elevator. Hotel charges for bottle of drinking water.

Location is absolutely great! Nice large bathroom with super bathtub but no shower. Nice size room. Staff was nice and helpful.

Our window looked out to a wall but what do you expect in Venice. If I looked left I saw the top of the Basilica. It would be great to make coffee in the room.

Great location, lovely decor from the moment you walk in, love the cocktail bar, the lounge area, breakfast overlooking the Basilica, good selection at breakfast. Staff very lovely and helpful. I can’t believe how good it was value for money to be just off St marks square in January. Room was clean, bed large, linen good, turn down service, shower powerful. The room was a little dated but absolutely fine, all I wanted was coffee making facilities to be happy.

Super friendly staff; especially Alessandro at the bar (and breakfast) and the nice lady from the breakfast; but all staff were super good!

Rooms are a bit dated (part of the charm of Venice, and the hotel in particular) but I did see a bug in the bathroom at one point, and I don’t think that was part of the charm :)

No AC (apparently the government does not allow them to turn on AC in October). Rooms were warm. They were nice and moved us to a room that was cooler.

The location of this hotel to St Marks Square is excellent. It central location made it easy to walk throughout Venice.

There was no air conditioning in the rooms, we had trouble sleeping because it was too hot, the second night it was cooler so not hot. There conversion plugs did not work, and there many steps. The breakfast

It was a noisy room and the floors were very uneven. The lighting in the bathroom was dark and had no lights in the shower nor enough lighting by the mirror for shaving or putting on makeup. The washroom door was very noisy to close. The facility had many stairs. The dining room staff were unfriendly and sometimes hard to locate. Breakfast needed a few more options.

The location was easy to find and had good access to St. Marc's Sq. The room had pretty decor. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Finding the entrance was not easy. Online it appeared to face the basilica and google maps took us to the basilica side of the building. We had to ask locals who graciously helped.

Nothing, front desk exchanged our room for another we preferred and even lowered the nightly rate.

Breakfast with warm eggs, spinach, meat, cereals, and tons of fresh fruit. Great front desk help with flights and train travel.

Maybe when you put the do not disturb sign on the door they still went to clean it, not much of an issue but I think it was in there for a reason.

Staff are welcoming, the location is great and the cleanliness was exceptional.

Excellent location around the corner from San Marco. The staff is wonderful helping organize Pick up from cruise terminal and water taxi to airport, walking tour and restaurants. Great breakfast selection of hot and cold foods. Loved the little bar . Comfortable bed and bedding.
