How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Verified reviewThe hotel is in a great location—right on the beach and close to the main street. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, just like the first time.
This time, our room was on the first floor, which I didn’t like as much, since the view wasn’t as nice. The restaurant staff was different this time and they weren’t very polite or friendly towards foreigners. They didn’t speak any English, and it was very difficult until someone finally worked up the courage to ask us about drinks. They were only kind and attentive to the Italian guests.

The room is tiny, the bathroom is even smaller, the bathroom door was broken. The room is very noisy you can hear noise from the street, at night there was music playing until after midnight. You can also hear your neighbors tv and closing doors. The elevators are old and slow. The hotel says dog friendly but they only admit small dogs. There is no parking.
Dear Guest thank you for choosing to stay at our hotel and sharing your experiences. The hotel accepts small animals with a supplement of € 5 per day. Guests have 2 types of parking available, one of which can be booked directly online and one free of charge 400 metres away. The size of the room can be seen both on the website and on the booking portals. In your case, for 2 persons you have been assigned a room of about 14 square metres with balcony and private bathroom. Last Saturday, 21 June, here in Romagna we were celebrating the Notte Rosa (Pink Night) and there were lots of events of events on our beaches with special permissions beyond midnight, which was the cause of music beyond the hours that are usually scheduled. The hotel has 2 lifts, one of which is more spacious to allow wheelchair access, the speed of which is regulated by the type of lift and consequently by current regulations. Certainly, if the hotel is full, the wait may be longer. We are keen to know every opinion of our customers, we would be pleased to have a discussion on the spot because in this way we can solve any problems during the stay to make it better. Verified reviewSuper hotel according 3-stars. Good breakfasts, good bed was in my room, good place. For beach-style relax holidays can recommend 100%. People really want to solve your problems. Like! Good beaches nearby.
The prices in August are not good. Be careful, you have to pay for everything not mentioned in the offer. Beaches are not free (sun loungers and umbrellas), hotel car parking is not free of course, and beach towels are not free either. If you purchase the Dinner Included rate, only water is included. Everything else is available at extra cost. But all of this I knew before, then ok.

Not their fault, but the surrounding area is a little tired. End of season maybe they had already exhausted their inventory and staff were leaving, they don’t go out with a bang.

The staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to ensure guests feel comfortable and welcome. Its proximity to the beach is a significant advantage, allowing for easy and frequent seaside visits. The hotel dinners are particularly noteworthy.

It’s OLD & dated. My room had a funky smell when I checked in . There is no soundproofing in the rooms. I could hear everything in the surrounding rooms and the music pumping from the beach all night long . I had to sleep with earplugs and an eyepatch . In addition the light comes in through the shades. I don’t know why these people didn’t take the time during Covid to do an upgrade of this hotel. Everything about it needs to be refreshed. You are definitely paying for location. Only in addition you have to pay to go to the beach. There are no free bike rentals & no water in the room , and my mini fridge didn’t work until the third day of my stay. I would not stay here again.

Verified reviewGentle, professional and always smiling. The position is basically on the beach. No issues, easy check in and check out. The hotel is near multiple shops and needs. If the daily weather is not optimal, you can easily reach to cities nearby by max 30 minutes car, such as Ravenna, Cervia, Milano MArittima etc.
