The access to the room, and staying in an attic room with no view.

It was my second stay at this hotel, it is well-located, clean, and comfortable. However, this time I was put in a room on the roof, with two roof windows, and no view. I found it a bit claustrophobic, and the route to get there with steps and more steps, even to the bathroom, seemed less pleasant than the last time I stayed in a room with windows, and plenty of sunlight.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room or available in the hotel - would have been good to have this facility. It was unseasonably cold on our first two nights (October 18/19) but we were informed that they were not allowed to put the heating on before October 22nd.

There are challenging steps in some of the corridors and going into the bathroom. It was because the building is old and just the way it is. But it could pose a problem for someone with limited mobility. Ask for a ground floor room if that is the case.

Beautiful, quiet location on Murano, close to several good restaurants and a superb glass workshop. Deceptive and distinctive building layout. Nice terrace. Owner was very polite.

2 minor issues: (1) I stayed in two different rooms, and in the showers of both rooms, the shower nozzle had this annoying tendency to rotate backward, so that instead of spraying water downward onto the shower floor, the water shot upward, over the shower walls and soaking the rest of the bathroom. (2) This is not necessarily a flaw of this hotel, but I only found out when I was checking out that the city tax must be paid in cash (maybe this is common knowledge among frequent European travelers, but I was not aware of it and no one informed me beforehand). I didn't have cash, so I had to rush to an ATM and back so I didn't miss my ferry to the airport. Luckily, I had budgeted some extra time for checkout, so I made it to the ferry with time to spare.

Good location if you're ok staying in Murano. Near the vaporetto. Rooms were fine, nothing extravagant and maybe a little dated, but for the price it was an excellent deal for Venice and I would absolutely stay there again.

I didn’t like the idea that I couldn’t have the windows open for fresh air because of the mosquitoes

The AC in the room was too cold and I could not turned it down, although there was a controler.

All the staff was really nice and accommodating. The room was available an hour earlier so we were really thankful to check-in rather to just leave the bags. Beware - on the list in the room, there was a note that the staff has a break from 13:00-14:00. The breakfast was just fine, although there were only sweet options and coffee from automat coffeemaker. Overall it was really nice, we enjoyed our stay.

The breakfast.. not the best and not much of variety. The shower is not very comfortable but everything was clean. There’s one dysfunctional plug beside the bed.

There were no disposable slippers, not everything in the room functioned (the shower holder did not work in the shower). It would be nice to have an air freshener in the toilets. Our plane was delayed by almost 2 hours, because of this, when we arrived at the hotel, it was already 22:30 on the clock. We were hungry and thirsty. All places in the area were closed, in some places where we could drink tea, there was our hotel, but the manager do not made drinks for us, although he had such an opportunity. We were even ready paying for this. Therefore, it would not be bad if, at least in such cases, it was possible to at least buy tea or coffee at the hotel.

The breakfast is fine if you stay 1-2 nights, but longer it gets sort of boring. Always the same cheese and yogurt. Some variations would be valuable. At the same time every breakfast, they had warm croissants, which was wonderful.

Our second time in this hotel, now in a different family setting. You shouldn't expect too much from this hotel, it's rather cheap for this area and it is located not on the main islands. But if you want to live on the Grand Canal - you have a different budget :) For this hotel we really liked the staff, everybody was very friendly. We had mosquitos and one of the staff members gave us the anti-mosquito device, which was very helpful. Also, he noticed that every breakfast we have a "blanco" yogurt, and every time when he saw us coming, he was checking whether they still had it and was bringing it to us. Very nice of him! The hotel is located in a very calm area where mainly locals live. You still have a shop (Coop) and a few restaurants nearby. Daily commutes by the Vaporetto are a pleasure and don't bother at all. The hotel was clean and we saw cleaning staff was cleaning our room daily, also totally satisfied

You ned to take the waterbus the stops at Murano Museo otherwise it's a 15 minute walk. Hotel is on the opposite side of the numbers and sign.

The charming rooms are decorated with Venetian mirrors and chandeliers, tole painted furniture, and fabric covered walls. The AC worked great and there were two patio areas along with a breakfast room. Breakfast does not come with standard Booking.com reservation.

Breakfast was rather limited, other hotels have much more items in Italy, although it cost 7,5 Euro only. The hotel was a bit overpriced for the size of the room.

Location is excellent, in a quite area and close to chops, restaurants, vaporetto to join Venice or the airport. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. We will come back!
