One of the male receptionist very rude when we checked out, he ,could nt find a record of city tax which we had paid!said he needed this money to live and we were so lucky to find a cheap hotel in Rome.disappointed he said this,we paid the tax did n't have an issue with it don t know why he was so unnecessary rude

We went in Feb, the room was cold in the day as the heat was off, no mirror in the bedroom, and only 1 plug sockets make sure to take an extension lead.

Location is perfect for sight seeing. All the major sights and transport locations are less than 10 mins away.

It is a bit outdated, though still clean and comfortable. There were more warning signs and fine threats regarding smoking in the room thank I’m normally used to at other hotels. I was not provided any wifi password, though I didn’t exactly need it; I’m still not from Rome and it would have been nice if a wifi password was provided to me.

Location is great. Five minute walk from the train station, close enough walk to many other sites (though, I’m not much of a tourist myself). Staff was always extremely friendly and welcoming.

Decor was a bit dated and needs some attention to bring it to some kind of modern! Also too many signs saying Do not smoke, don't do this, don't do that... repetitive and unnecessary

Overall it was a comfortable hotel Travelodge style nothing more nothing less

Room too tight, the receptionist looks not friendly seems serious, no friendly face. Looks always busy on their computer/paper, while we want to talk to them, but when we stand to talk to them, they interrupt and helped us of course. The Toilet doesn't have a key from the inside, imagine in the shared room. They didn't ask us if we want to have the room cleared or not, better first check the guests willingness to get the room cleaned. We were surprised on the first day while we got the room got cleaned, because we might not locked valuable things. At least better to notify guests ahead of time.

When taking a shower in afternoon or very late at night water took ages to run hot. Other times, showers were fantastic, loads of hot water.

The smalleness of the room

Small rooms and small double bed. No tea/coffee in room or mini frig. Limited wardrobe space.

Honest and unpretentious. Good but not great location. Close to central station (10 min walk downhill). Good variety but portioned breakfast. You need to order your croissants the day before to prevent over catering. Ground floor lounge was a delight - very cosy. Great restaurant in the basement but separate from the hotel. Close to the opera. Lift to access all levels except basement breakfast area. Clean room and spotless renovated all white bathroom. Good shower but take care not to turn the water off by leaning on the water mixer lever. First time was a real surprise! In all, a good 3 star hotel. Recommended.

The pictures from the booking were overestimated, because the actual quality of the room was very different. Much older, and a bad illumination. The shower place in the bathroom was very small. I think the room was very expensive. Besides of that, you have to sign all the information in the paper when you check in. It was not something nice to do, when you are arriving very tired of a long trip.

In my room the electricity dock was not working I had to charge my phone in the bath room. But I didn't inform the hotel since I was planning only 1 day in Rome so it wasn't a deal breaker for me.

The receptionist was very joyful and polite.

A little difficult to find. While a relatively short distance from the rail terminal the cobblestone sidewalks made it difficult to walk with luggage. Suggest taking a taxi if this might be a problem.

Breakfast was very good with a good variety of items. Very small hotel but welcoming staff and in close proximity to the mail rail terminal. Lots of restaurants with outdoor seating nearby. Rooms were compact but met our needs. Not too long a walk to main attractions.
