The shower was not a proper shower. The floor was soaking when using it. Hairdryer not working. Cracked tiles and walls throughout the room.

Hotel is very near to the train station which was ideal for us.

the pillows could be a bit more comfortable and softer.

Great location. Absolutely fabulous breakfast. Italian breakfasts are usually exceptionally good, but the one offered by the Corso Hotel was just amazing. The hostess was very attentive and welcoming. We never experienced a selection of two kinds of pates at the breakfast table even though we stayed in dozens of Italian hotels and B&B's. The selection of pastries was also outstanding

The property is old and the tree star is not exactly in line. No reckless dirt but clean at its best. Room had a awful bed witch not even a 1 star would have. Some guests where very lousy and noisy. Bathroom old going back to the 70's and time to change. The structure location is very good but the structure is not up to its standard three star. What a waste ! Reception elderly ladies.....very rude and not customer oriented! Old furniture, not energy efficient system and some plugs not working. No carpets on floor at all!

Reception at arrival (the young lad was very kind, positive and helpful) but in age ladies circulating in reception not at all - rude and not customer oriented - maybe it's time to stay home), room temperature, clean towels and not old.

The air-conditioning control panel was missing. There is no ventilation in the bathroom, and the window opening onto the street was blocked.

This is apparently a family-run hotel. The reception was on 24-hours and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There are 2-bed and 3-bed rooms, all with attached bath. The location is excellent, on one of Padova's main streets, just 5 minutes from the train station and from the Flixbus stop (a parking lot called Piazzale Boschetti). The local bus stop, just opposite the is TRIESTE. The buffet breakfast was excellent.

A tired and worn hotel with dripping shower. However it's what we expected for the price so no real complaint.

Location superb if arriving by train. Just 5 mins walk down main road (no car traffic, just buses and trams). Then another 5 mins to the Scrovegni chapel and museum. We were there at 0855 and went straight in without booking ( but it was November). In the summer there are always evening slots available on the day so you could easily go down to the museum before breakfast and make sure you can see it. Very helpful reception staff speaking good English.

The hotel is old fashioned & could do with updating. Bedrooms are a reasonable size but the bathroom was very small. If you were a large person you would struggle to negotiate the gap between the wash basin/loo /bidet & the wall, but it was clean & there were plenty of towels. On my last morning there was no hot water so couldn't have a shower. The carpet in the room was dirty & needed cleaning. Beds were not particularly comfortable, bit on the hard side. Breakfast selection was OK but they ran out of tea bags & made no attempt to get any more. Felt it was a bit overpriced for the facilities offered.

Great location close to the railway/bus station & the town centre. In fact it is only a five minute walk from the station & a 10 minute walk into the centre. The staff on the desk were welcoming & helpful.

The beds were not comfortable AT ALL. They were more like pull out beds from a sofa.. Just no support and not much mattress. Bed linens were clean. Also the internet kept going down. It was not very dependable.

The location was perfect. Very close to good bus stops to see the city. Not very far from the train station. They had a very good breakfast. Coffee was wonderful. Even though hotel is older everything was really clean.

The sad fact that this once beautiful university city is fast becoming a gathering point for, apparently, unemployed groups of Africans (may be politically incorrect but it is a fact of life). this is not the Hotel's fault, but does strolling around in the evening a little scary

An excellent three star hotel, suitably situated a few minutes walk from the railway station and Padova old city. Has lift and an excellent working air con. staff a little standoffish but one you stay a couple of night, they loosen up and become friendly ... we stayed 10 days. one thing to remember is that the rooms whilst comfortable are not super large and if you have a lot of luggage you may find it a little cramped. in addition to the train station only a few minutes away, most of Padova public transport is right at the front door ... but why bus it when you can enjoy Padova from street level by strolling. Padova is also so central to other cities such as Venice, Vicenza, Verona and Treviso.

Room temperature very warm, maybe around 25 degrees Celsius (it no doubt had to do with the heatwave of 36 degrees outside). One night there was an extremely noisy street concert just next to the hotel that lasted until midnight.

Room was disgusting. Carpets are old and the only way of describing them is "crusty". I was afraid to touch the floor with bare feet. Bathroom was very moldy and the shower leaked. I tried hard to avoid this kind of place when booking, disappointing that I completely failed this booking. Never stay here, you're better than that.

Close to the train station, which is why I made the mistake of booking here.

Location is just great. If you are planning to visit Venice, this is a good option. 5 min walk to the train station and ca. 30 min by train is what takes - all for 8.2 EUR (return). Distance to Padova old town is also a short walk. Hotel is reasonably priced with very friendly staff. Room and bath were clean, although perhaps some refurbishment is needed. Although it's an excellent value given the location, the hotel looks tired and in need of renovation.

The woman at the desk was incredibly helpful when we were having trouble with our car reservation.

Apparently, the room hasn't been refurbished for a very long time. Especially underneath the airconditioning was a big black spot of mold. For breakfast, I would have expected at least one whole meal cerial - Not everybody is happy with toast or cornflakes.

The location is quite nice, though traffic through the open window was very loud.

Location was excellent. Between the town centre and the railway/bus stations. The hotel was clean and comfortable but slightly dated. Good for the price!

The breakfast may be improved - there is no vegetables, not even lettuce or tomatoes. I would suggest less cakes but let them be truely fresh. The hotel needs a little refurbishment and there is no shower cabin, just a shower curtain.

The bed is a truely queen-sized one. Good location to explore the city on foot, very close to railway station. The wifi worked fine.

The hotel's internal decor is in dire need of an uplift. First impressions on entering the reception area confirming this. The rooms too were in need of a facelift.

The hotel's location is ideal, particularly for short term visitors to Padua, being a couple of hundred metres from the railway station. While the hotel interior in general appeared a little "worn out" the staff and facilities provided, all worked well. Staff were very helpful - also with directions and suggestions as to places to visit and how long it would take. I note that one or two earlier reviewers complained about the location of the breakfast facilities. I found the breakfast room easy to locate with both the service there and food provided being equal to any other 3 star hotel I have visited in Italy.

Only a 4 min walk from Padua station but there is a tram for the less mobile. Short walk from hotel to town centre so close for bars and restaurants. If you want an excellent Italian meal (no pizzas) go to "Isola Di Caprera " the hotel recommended it and was a stunning meal and service.

Tired, grim room in need of refurbishment - a bit run down

Very convenient location in easy distance of the station and the Scrovegni Chapel - but outside the old city. Reasonable breakfast and there is a drinks machine for water and hot drinks on a corridor

Our luggage was not put in the luggage room, but in the bar behind the door (?!?) and despite the promise it will be moved to the room once ready, we found it at the evening behind the same door. When we asked why, we only got a nervous grumble from the lady at the reception.

The breakfast was very, very rich and good, including even nice cakes as nowhere else in our stay in Italy. The room was good and clean, no problems with the spring beds or bathroom.

    Outdated interior

Close to the train station, moderate price (which however reflects what you get inside). In overall, satisfactory for a one-day city break
