The air conditioning was set at 28 degrees so it was hard to sleep on the first night - have a chat to the staff to lower it a little as the room gets really stuffy in the summer. The WiFi also didn't reach the room and it was difficult to get in touch with staff sometimes. There was only a few power outlets as well so it was hard to find somewhere to charge the phone if others had theirs plugged in.

Very central location, within walking distance to a lot of major attractions and close to the central train station and metro. Also lots of restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly. Laundry service was great. Good value for money.

It could get very hot at night and it got a little cramped sometimes. There were no lockers to lock your luggage in, but I had basically no issues with the room other than that. It is on the 5th floor, but there is an elevator available. I never used it as it seemed pretty old, but I saw others use it and it looked like it worked fine.

Pretty much a perfect location! Walking distance from a lot of sights, a bus stop right outside the door, metro just a couple of minutes walk away, and Roma Termini was just about a 5 minute walk. :) Bathrooms were spacious and had both toilet and shower, which can be rare at hostels. Staff was nice and helpful!

The one small issue I had was noise, as I could hear people going in to the bathroom/coming back late but this is to be expected as there are dormitory rooms.

The staff at Hotel Cressy were so kind and helpful, and really made this a nice place to stay. The location is excellent if you're travelling, as the main Rome train station is a maximum 5 minute walk away. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, and pastry shops around for any meals you may need. My single room was perfect for my needs - cosy, simple and clean.

First warning: In my dorm there wasn't any locker, so be ready for this. The hostel doesn't have any facilities such as a kitchen to cook your own meals, and you have to request the cutlery to the receptionist. My dorm was on the 4th floor. You have to share the toilets and showers with other guests. The hostel doesn't have any common room and the cleanliness isn't great.

Location was good and convenient, near Termini station, which was busy with movement and stores. The hostel provided a towel for free, and the bed also was comfortable. There's an elevator available to access the dorms. The receptionist who works in the morning was very kind.

The usual - 'more bathrooms/showers' - I stayed at a time where a lot of people appeared to be doing the same things at the same times!

Location was ideal - right near the train/bus station. Appears expensive for a shared room - but by Rome standards, actually very cheap. Staff were friendly enough / left people to get on with their business while keeping the place tidy.

The bathroom wasn't that clean. But i arrived late in the evening and left the next morning, possibly it was about to be cleaned. The room and the bed were clean though!

The hotel might be considered to be a little utilitarian and minimalistic, and it could do with some updates to the facilities. For one thing, the doors to our rooms seemed a bit wonky at times, with them not closing properly or awkwardly reacting to the key cards. There are also only two shared bathrooms in the hotel and they don’t drain well when you shower, making the floors quite slippery. Expect the bare necessities.

This is my second stay at the hotel in under a year and I liked the hotel well enough to bring friends with me this time. The property is in an excellent location near Termini Station, making it great for travelers stopping through Rome for a couple days hoping to see many things; St Mary Major and the Colosseum are also only a short walk away. The price is unbeatable for Rome and it’s great for groups; I had ten friends with me and we all had our own beds across three rooms.
