Great hotel to be based out of for exploring Rome as a tourist. Only 15 minutes walk to Roma Termini and at best an hour walk to Vatican City. Other tourist sites are within 30-45 mins. Hotel was lovely with a nice spacious room and ensuite. Breakfast was great each morning and the staff are incredibly helpful. Would recommend as a place away from the main hustle and bustle but also not far enough away it is a long trek to get there.

The bathroom drain plug was hard to keep open I had to pull it up with my finger nails .. I think this might be common,, perhaps because I experienced the same in Firenze..

The Staff was wonderful.. The Desk Agents were very helpful locating places to eat .. the room was adequate for all my needs and fully met my expectations… The morning breakfast was above my expectations.. Gloria and a gentleman that worked in the Kitchen 4/22 were exceptionally helpful.. Good scrambled eggs and bacon plenty of fresh fruit..

The hotel looked tired. It was clean but could have been cleaner. The shower took 5 mins to heat up, and the shower door was off the rails and wouldn't close properly. The remote control for the tv had some sort of food/grime smeared all over it and needs to be properly cleaned.

3 min walk to subway station and right by old basilica. Wonderful restaurants with top notch quality Italian food and stones throw away. We ate every day just around the corner from this hotel

Everything was great. Know that the room is designed in utilitarian style--nothing decorative at all (only a negative if that is important to you).

excellent and varied breakfast buffet (fresh fruits, yoghurt, eggs, meats and cheeses, rolls and toast, lots of sweets, coffee made to order); very quiet if room doesn't face the street; kettle and fridge in room, very clean; good location near the train/bus station; fairly large given the standard room size in Rome

Cleaning should be better addressed (bedsheets and towels to be changed on a regular basis). Mopping and vacuuming should be more thoroughly done. Breakfast could included some vegetables too.

The hotel is situated in a very good location, close to Roma Termini which very convenient when exploring the surroundings. In the neighbourhood there are 2 very good restaurants, if you want to enjoy some local dishes. The breakfast is basic, but sufficient to boost your energy for the day. At the front desk, Germano is the best person to offer tips about exploring Rome. He is a very kind, nice and helpful person.

even though the room I chose was a lower rate one and got the not refurbished one, I was expecting to have not so dated furniture, shower head needs replacement, breakfast was limited, hot in the room and very hard mattress

Helpful staff, gave good recomendation for restaurant and map for sightseeing, good location, close to the 2 main metro lines. Fairly good choise for short stays.

While the location is away from tourists area, it also meant far from attractions. It's about 10 minutes walk to the nearest metro station or the main train station. Breakfast was a little on light side and not very fresh. The room temperature is a bit too hot. The room and bathroom are small, which we knew ahead of time from the pictures. There's not enough desk space to put your stuff. The rooms are basically good for sleeping.

Location is away from tourist areas, so there are many quite good local restaurants that are reasonably priced. And there's a supermarket near by.The hotel room is relatively clean though small and simple. Nonetheless, it has all the necessary amenities, and the double bed was big. We arrived early, and the hotel let us check-in early. The TV had many international channels.

The location was a bit far from everything. There was also a strange rotten smell in the room. The coffee at breakfast was probably the worst I’ve ever had.
