We loved the view of the valley from our room, the totally relaxing ambiance of the hotel grounds including the outdoor restaurant with fabulous view and pool area.  We loved the location which was outside the old city walls and therefore very but a very pleasant easy walk to the town gates. Great restaurant staff and great food.

What a lovely hotel! A warm welcome from the Signora, Paulo, Franco and Stefano, a beautiful pool and a wonderful location on the outskirts of Assisi, with a marvellous view from the terrace of the restaurant across the plain below. Not our first visit and hopefully, not our last.

Amazing hotel, I have been visiting Da Angelo since I was born and it still continues to have a lovely warm feel. It also has an amazing restaurant with the best food. Highly recommend this place.

It is a little way out of Assisi, needs a bus ride into town. The pool was closed even though the weather was in high 20s at start of October.

We enjoyed our two nights at this family run hotel which had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The location of the hotel (its proximity to Assisi) was exactly as described - about a kilometre away and for us, easily walkable. The hotel also had a very nice swimming pool! There were some fabulous views from the outdoor dining area, and a good range of reasonably priced meals to choose from meant we had a nice relaxing couple of evenings there after a day in Assisi (very well worth a visit). The staff were helpful in explaining some of the menu (that we couldn’t translate using Google!) - they were very patient with us and for that we were grateful.

Bring your insect repellent. However the place is still worth visiting!

The location and the view by the pool were amazing. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and met all our requests. The shuttle to assisi town centre stops right in front of the hotel and it's quick and cheap. The restaurant was very good serving homemade food and local wines. We were travelling with a young baby and we have been given an accessible room with a cot. We would happily go back. Perfect for families or couples.

Breakfast quite simple but good enough. Staff in the restaurant very cheerful, but front desk not really interested.

What a wonderful hotel! A big pool with plenty of beds and shade; simple but comfortable room with sweeping views over the Umbrian valley; typical reasonably-priced trattoria-type restaurant with a terrace with the same view; walking distance from the wonderful town of Assisi....although we didn't...A bus stops outside too. And all that for a ridiculously low price.

Great place to rest after a long day of driving. Pool was very refreshing - used in in the afternoon and morning. The dinner was excellent at the restaurant and a good value. I walked into Assisi in the morning while the family slept, took about 20 minutes along the sidewalk along the road. Nice to see the town "wake -up".

The mattress was a little uncomfortable.

The swimming pool was great! The staff were all lovely and friendly and kind. Great bathroom and shower. Super balcony. Handy supermarket a short walk up the road. Gorgeous scenery. Brilliant location for getting to the holy places and Assisi, if you are happy to walk uphill for 30 mins or so. If not, there is a little bus right outside that goes into the centre for only euro 1.30. Wonderful place.

There wasn't anything! However, an interesting plus would be to have a minibar in the room, especially for those very hot summer days.

An excellent choice with a very attractive value. The room is large, even with a desk in case you need to get some work done (wifi was good enough as well). A large private parking is provided within the property. Having a restaurant together with the hotel was great as well, and their service and food was wonderful! Swimming pool is quite big and with a relaxing area to relax.

Nice room, enough space, simple but everything ok, technic is working, it’s clean, friendly reception, parking space available, amazing view in the valley, restaurant offers delicious local food for fair prices; when we left we had a little technical issue with one of our motorbikes and we got immediately help from the staff and could fix it together- a place to go!
