I was traveling with my friend and we had an amazing stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel comfortable and taken care of - we are looking to come back! Also, the food in their restaurant was exceptional!

It was all very good so nothing specific I didn't like. One thing they might want to consider is in room breakfast. There is a personal terrace per room with a suberbe view, shame not to use it.

Mattresses a bit too hard with a better pillow selection! Perhaps adding mattresses toppers would help it!

We wish we could have stayed longer!

Firstly, BIG thank you to ALL the amazing people at Gelsomina, you all truly made us welcome & serviced our every need. The restaurant is renowned across Italy & it didn’t disappoint. The staff have family roots to this magnificent place & it shows. Capri is an incredible place & Anacapri is amazing! We recommend getting custom sandals from Luca & Vincenzo in Anacapri (La Capri Chic) these guys are fantastic! The chair lift to Monte Solari is a must, cold beer & lunch at the top along with incredible views/photos. Our hike from Gelsomina up along the view points was amazing, we walked through Anacapri each morning. Sunset at the lighthouse (faro) is a must! Get there before 6:15pm so you don’t miss it! We see many beautiful sunsets in Australia but this one was just stunning. Da Gelsomina = AAA+++

Sometimes it took a bit of time to get into town if a shuttle was full, but just budget a bit of extra time and it's fine!

The views from Da Gelsomina are astounding. Located way up the mountain in Anacapri, you get to escape the crowds and soak in the beauty of the area while maintining a quick connection back to town with the hotel's shuttle service. The staff from the restaurant to the shuttles were friendly, outgoing and professional. The pool is beautiful, the restaurant serves authentic, property-grown produce and everyone is happy to be there. It was such a unique place to stay and we are already planning a trip back.

Incredibly beautiful property, a bit removed from the busier town center. The staff is welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant is so amazing. Food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if you don’t mind being a little further up the mountain! We loved it!

Everything ! The location was excellent 👌 it is located with great views of the sea and other part of the island. Our room has it's private balcony with great views if the ocean. It's like paradise!They have a view point for Sunset at the end of the cliff. The hotel has her own farm and orchard where they organically grow their own vegetables and other plants. They have a rabbitry. The restaurant use the vegetables from this farm and they serve some of the best food ever. There's also a beautiful park good for meditation; parco filorsofica. This is a family run hotel and restaurant. The staff are excellent 👌 Vaschali, his wife and the rest of the staff are so nice and welcoming. Always checking up to see you are enjoying your time. Lovely people. Great place full of peace and tranquility. The hotel looks like the Garden of Eden !

The hotel location, the property & the pool are Beautiful. Amazing views. Pasquel & the entire team are incredible. The Restaurant is exceptional, providing outstanding sunset views. The food is excellent. We enjoyed 2 dinners & one breakfast, all were excellent and the service was 5 star. We loved our 2 night stay in Anacapri, and the full day we spent in Capri. The chair lift in Capri is a must.

Everything was very fine organized. The only thing a future guest should consider is that the property is located on top of the hill and therefore is not easily accessible for a walk downtown etc. However, their own transfers are available at any time from early in the morning till late night.

The facility is well equipped and perfectly maintained; the staff is very attentive and friendly, It is a family run business and this provides an overall charm to the location, too : gardens, (huge) pool, forest, restaurant ( food & drinks are great !) and rooms with the breathtaking view - a very pleasant stay overall.

I wish we could have stayed more.

My wife and I went to AnaCapri to celebrate our 25th anniversary. This was one of our most memorable experience in all of south Italy. The view from our room and restaurant is amazing. The service was impeccable and the food was delicious. They went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. We could not have chosen better location than “Da Gelsomina”. It is a MUST visit restaurant of Capri / AnaCapri.

Beautiful location for those who like being disconnected. Stunning views. Super friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant serves amazing food. Place offers shuttle bus all day rund to town Anacapri what is wonderful for daiky trips around the island. Swimming pool is well maintained and has a breathtaking top view over the sea.

The staff can be discourteous . I felt like I was asking for favors when I needed help. Restaurant food disappointing. Long waits for transfer to town are the norm. If you like to walk, use the path to town. They should tell everyone about this option and provide a simple map.

Pool amazing, remote location nestled in agriculture, best views a few minutes away, and a via connects you to town twenty minutes away that is flat, scenic, not used by tourists
