The box for this part of the review says "write 2 or 3 sentences." That doesn't do justice to this wonderful place. We stayed 3 nights at the beginning of our trip to Tuscany, and another 1 night at the end of our trip. 2 different rooms, both wonderful. The location, the rooms, the staff - all 10+.

Best stay in Florence! Wonderful breakfast, room was extremely spacious and very comfortable. Staff were super friendly! Safe parking space, quiet rooms, absolutely perfect.

The location was perfect since we had a car and were able to park it in the hotel’s parking area and we could either walk or grab a taxi at the stand very close to the hotel. Rooms were great as were the breakfast and happy hour every day.

Our room was toward the road and the motorbikes were quite noisy until about 1 am. Would have liked a medium pillow as well but just my personal choice .

The breakfast and social hour was great. We felt very welcome. Was given a nice bottle of wine for our anniversary which was extremely thoughtful. The front desk gave great information about the area. Biggest shower we've had in Italy as well!

I did not care for the pillows. They need an upgrade! The rest was outstanding.

Great location just across the river from the crowds, so quiet and lovely. Room was spacious, and they had lots of amenties, like a great breakfast, free aperitivo, coffee and drinks. The staff were professional and exceptionally corteous. Well done!

The staff went above and beyond to help organise transport to a winery out of Florence. The Breakfasts and evening Drinks were a highlight. Would love to come back and stay again.

Nothing could have been improved upon.

First of all, the reception staff is outstanding…very eager to help, went above and beyond with rebooking tickets that had been cancelled by me accidentally, etc. The room was lovely and the breakfast was delicious.

I really like this hotel. It’s on the other side of the river yet it’s just a short bus ride to get into Florence maybe 15 minutes. the hotel staff is extraordinarily gracious and accommodating. They have a really nice free breakfast area so you can have a little snack during the day.

We loved everything

We loved everything about this beautiful hotel. The staff were so kind and made us feel so welcome. Ruckman and Chiara both helped with day trip ideas and restaurant reccomendations The rooms were beautiful with high ceilings and comfortable beds. We loved the breakfast each morning and the happy hour drinks and nibbles each night were a lovely way to meet other travelling guests . We were very sad to leave here and would return tomorrow if we could.

Nothing all great.

Everything great location just out of city but able to walk or bus stop is very close. We had a car so it was great that car parking was available on site at no extra charge. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous and the happy hour was a fantastic bonus.

The Hotel David staff went out of their way to help us with things like bus timetables, dinner suggestions and reservations, and just making sure our stay was comfortable. Happy hour was generous and fun, and having tea,coffee and soft drinks always available was appreciated by us weary travelers. Breakfast is fabulous, although because it only started at 7.30am, we missed it on the days we had early starts. The hotel is a little way from the city centre but we quite enjoyed the walk along the river. When we weren’t up for it, we caught the bus from right outside the hotel. If we ever make it back to Florence, Hotel David will be top of our list.

The stuff in this hotel is so amazing from the lady in the kithcen to all stuff in the reception. Interior is also nice and modern. Also special thanks to miss Chiara for came out from hotel and helping me where to park the car. Next time in Florence I will definetly want to be here again:)

Breakfast was exceptional. There was a wide variety of items from which to choose. The staff working in the breakfast room was very cheerful and friendly. The location of the hotel was great. We could walk into the touristy area, but when we had had enough of crowds, Hotel David served as a delightful escape. Front desk staff could not have made us feel more welcome.

We loved many personal touches like the overall friendliness of the entire staff, which made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast was included and it was very good. The complimentary happy hour gave the guests an opportunity to mingle and enjoy refreshments. When we checked out we received a small gift of beautiful soap. We would not stay anywhere else in Florence.

A very good hotel if you have a car but a 10 Euro cab ride to the center of town and a long way from the train station. Restaurants near the station are cheaper.

They have managed to create a quiet oasis hat I still close to points of interest in the city. There are thoughtful touches in all of the furnishings. The staff are kind and helpful. The he scores is whimsical with convenient nods to sustainability.
