Our room smelled „old“. This was not the case in the rest of the hotel - but it made the room uncomfortable for us as we are sensitive to smells. Breakfast was rather basic.

Very central location. Close to Castel Sant‘Angelo and the Vatican. Good soundproofing. The streets were quite loud, but as soon as the windows were closed, the noise was almost gone. Friendly receptionist.

We liked the location. It’s an excellent one, very close to the Vatican and all amenities are around. Most of the staff very friendly and nice. Also we loved the ancient spirit of the hotel and rooms.

I was suprised that roofterace was open for breakfast ONLY. It should be open in the evening as well. Breakfast was rather poor- no vegetables, no hot dishes.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location close to Vaticano in a quiet place. Hotel is very clean. Very nice view from a roofterace. Comfortable bed and good quality furniture.

There is not a reception area or lounge to stay at the end of the day with a drink or coffee while you wait for your reservations or activities, just a reception desk, maned by very helpful gentlemen. Also, there are about a dozen steps to reach this area from the street and you must go up with your luggage. From there, there is an elevator to the rooms.

The best of this hotel is its location, just three blocks from the Vatican and around the corner of great restaurants and a shopping street. Far from Colosseum area, but would be impossible to be so close to both. The breakfast at the roof top is priceless. It is a small boutique hotel, so our breakfast was peaceful, with a view of Rome and St Peter, with flowers and birds, exquisite croissants, coffee, cakes, and the most amiable service.

Great location walked everywhere, close to the Vatican. Great Breakfast with lots of choices. Shower was small. Breakfast on 4th Floor, room was amazing, only wish they were open for Supper & a Bar at Night to have a Drink. Tourist Tax is a little excessive for Rome. *****Stars Owner was very nice & friendly. Night desk Staff was amazing, very helpful and friendly. Can’t remember his name. *****Stars for him also.
