Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaWe loved our stay at Hotel Della Torre Argentina. The staff was so friendly and helpful and we found the location to be perfect as well. Hard to believe there are ancient ruins just right next door. We loved the breakfast each morning as well, great options! We would highly recommend and we would stay here again.

CanadaLike most Hotels in the historic centre of Rome, be aware that the style is on the smaller size with regard to the elevators and the size of your shower. One improvement suggestion is that it might be of interests for guests to know more of the history of the hotel and the nearby Argentine theatre ruins. The WiFi on the fifth floor could be a little stronger.
Location, location, location, you can basically walk to most of the important sites in downtown central Rome from the hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful such that it feels Ike you are staying at a large B&B. The building itself is over a hundred years old and has both character and ancient ruins built in and nearby. The breakfast was abundant and the staff are awesome. The Honesty bar on the fifth floor is a nice addition. We had an outside terrace which was amazing!

United KingdomRoof top bar has a potential, at the moment it is an honest bar, you pay for what you take from the fridge, but I would have preferred if there were a possibility to order a cocktail or if the bottled cocktails were available. I think the hotel could have reconsidered the pillows they are offering. Would have been better if the pillows were softer and lighter.
Excellent location, we were able to explore the city by foot. The rooms were clean and tidy, good continental breakfast. Great value for money if you don't want to spend a fortune on accommodation, but still stay in a good hotel.

MalaysiaSince the hotel is located on the main road, your sleep will be terribly disturbed by the walking sirens of the ambulance and police cars! As the aircond was off, we had to have the windows open. When the windows are open, the noise of people talking loudly can be clearly heard from the back alleyway right in the middle of the night! But this is no fault of the hotel! But you'll get used to the noise after a night or two! No kettle or coffee making facilities in the room... but hotel staff are kind enough to provide you one, if available. Very accommodating indeed.
Excellent location... very close to Pantheon, Piazza Navona, and Vatican City was a 25-minute walk. Piazza Venezia and Trevi Fountain are a 20-minute walk away. The bus stop to the Roma Termini, and Vatican City is right at the doorstep of this hotel. Very helpful and attentive front desk and restaurant staff. Annalisa needs special mention - very helpful and filled us in about the important things we needed to know. Rooms were fairly big, and the sheets and towels were very clean. Big bathroom and toilet. Buffet breakfast was fairly good. Has enough variety to sustain you till late lunch.

United States of AmericaOur only complaint is a tiny one: There was no regular (caffeinated) coffee in our room! There was a kettle for hot water and some packets of tea and instant Nescafe decaf coffee, but no regular. We asked at the front desk, and they didn't have any either, so we just bought some at a local pharmacy to keep in our room. The staff at the front desk seemed mortified that we needed something they didn't have, and we had to reassure them that it was really no big deal. Overall, this is an excellent hotel. 9.9/10
Location was ideal. Walk to the Pantheon in under 5 minutes. Staff was so friendly, helpful, and patient with helping us practice our broken Italian (but also happily switched to English when our Italian failed). The price for a suite, which included a nice breakfast every morning, was very reasonable. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

MontenegroThe location is unbeatable. It is a few bus stops away from any major attraction in the city. And the bus station is in front of the hotel doors. It is also a very close walk to Piazza Venezia, Fontana di Trevi, etc… The rooms are comfortable and pretty, rooftop view is amazing and the staff is super kind! :) They also regularly cleaned the room!
