Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Spainthe location even though it’s near everything is kind of lonely and scary. I don’t recommend staying out late at night. The bed was really squeaky, and sounded a lot. When we arrived there’s was no one in the B&B, we had to call, fair to say it didn’t took long for them to arrive. Breakfast was really poor, two sweet options coffee and water.
The rooms where ok, big enough. Air conditioning was good.

SwitzerlandThe bathroom might need an upgrade but it was very clean. My bed was a bit squeaky, but pillows were very comfortable and the sheets nice and clean.
It's conveniently placed near the main station in Palermo, at a walkable distance from the city's historic centre. It's not luxorious but I had everything I needed in the room, it was quiet and very clean. The staff is very kind and accommodating, I was able to check in early. The breakfast was a typical Italian - a coffee, cake, croissant, jam, milk, juice, and cornflakes.

PolandThe bathroom door was quite hard to shut properly, and the toilet seat was barely fixed in place. There was a musty smell in the room, and the bed wobbled noticeably with even the smallest movement.
Getting in was a bit tricky since the owner doesn’t speak English, but the staff were friendly and helpful.

LatviaWe were allowed to leave our things to pick them up at the end of the day, but when we came to pick them up, there was no one at the reception. We had to write to the owner and wait for them to come to us and open the door. but it didn't last long. And if it matters to you, the TV connection wasn't very good.
The hotel is very conveniently located. The train station and bus stops are five minutes away from the hotel. There are all the necessary amenities for living.

GermanyCommunication was challenging** since the staff didn’t speak much English. They seemed **far more concerned about collecting the city tax** than addressing the fact that our original room’s door was completely unusable(we were eventually given a different room). While this might have just been an unfortunate situation, it felt strange—and somewhat intrusive—that after we had already gone to bed at 11 PM, they knocked loudly on our door, asking for our passports, probably they forgot to do it when we arrived in the afternoon, but still.
The B&B is located super close to the station in a quiet street. You can test quietly. The beds were comfy, and everything was clean.

GermanyVery close to train station. There is a lift in the building!!! Breakfast included. I could here neighbours talking in the corridor, but it didn’t bother me. Old buildings have zero soundproofing everywhere. Franco at the reception is very very friendly. He talks like a character from Hollywood movie about Sicily. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. There is a local restaurant in the adjacent building. Food there is delicious and cost almost nothing.

United KingdomBe prepared for an extra city tax charged per day, which is common in many cities. since the hotel is on the top floor of a residential building and room has been modified, you can occasionally hear people talking, though this wasn’t a major issue to me.
cosy, well-located, and welcoming place to stay in Palermo! recommend it to co-travellers . Location: Fantastic! Just a stone's throw away from Palermo Centrale station, yet it offers a quiet and peaceful environment—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring and easy walk to the old town . Shopping: Very convenient! A Lidl supermarket on Via Roma is just a few minutes’ walk away, and there’s also a Turkish shop nearby with well-priced food and friendly staff—perfect for grabbing snacks or essentials. Room: Spacious with a private bathroom and air conditioning. The daily cleaning service and fresh towels (both bath and hand) added a nice touch of comfort and cleanliness. Bed: Big and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. Staff: The place seems like a family-run business, and the gentleman (possibly the host) was very nice and welcoming, Breakfast: Basic and simple, but the fresh baked croissants every morning were a delightful highlight.

UkraineI had a very good time staying there. Room was big, spacious and clean. Airco was working. Personal was very nice and friendly . Even through there is a language barrier we managed to communicate through translator. Even let me leave my luggage for a day when I was going to visit Favignana. SlovakiaThe bed was creaking a bit.
Location was very convenient close to the main train station in Palermo and within walking distance to the centre of the city and most of the restaurants and bars. The gentleman at the reception is very kind and helpful. The price per night was very reasonable and that is the main positive of the accommodation - very good price to value ratio. The accommodation will serve you very well if you plan to come to Palermo for a few days, for sightseeing or as a transfer station to other destinations and you don't have high expectations of the hotel's facilities, you need a decent place to sleep.
