We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaBreakfast is only served in the room, which is definitely NOT made clear when booking. Our terrace had no sunshade so was very hot even early morning, meaning that the breakfast tray had to be perched somehow on the small table or desk in the room. There was no choice offered, so just a selection of an odd assortment of food. Everything was cold by the time it got to us: toast, scrambled eggs, and worst of all, coffee, and no option for tea other than a couple of tea bags next to the room's kettle, and no milk. Things were often missed out such as butter. We protested after the first morning so they consented for us to go to the breakfast buffet at the restaurant they own next door, where we also went for dinner twice--very nice food, very slow, indifferent service. The hotel seems to be run according to the convenience of the staff, not the guests. Our room was not serviced one day, and when we mentioned it at the front desk, it was a case of "oh, OK..." The property is beautiful, but most of their business, and the one they seem to care most about, is based on functions such as weddings, anniversaries etc. Same for the restaurant next door, which they own. Sometimes extremely noisy at night with loud bands etc.
The location, although difficult to find on arrival first day--and clear instructions to guests would be most welcome--is stunning, perched high on a hill with panoramic views over the whole countryside and coast. Beautiful, modern property with gorgeous garden at the front. Our room had a large terrace with a jacuzzi, sunbeds and table and chairs. It was too hot to sit out there for most of the day until late afternoon. However, a sun umbrella arrived the morning we left. The property has free onsite parking. Pleasant staff.

AustraliaTo be honest it was a all around beautiful place from the staff to the view, location is nice and peaceful if you wish to be close to Napoli and enjoy a more calmer environment. The food is spectacular at the restaurant there and staff is very accommodating.

Netherlandsit was sometimes a bit hard to figure out what arranged or what was expected of us because we don’t speak Italian and there are few signs/ explanations for things. but there were a couple of staff members who spoke very good English (plus google translate) and so we managed!
very clean, tastefully decorated, cool. View from the restaurant was SPECTACULAR. Food was unbelievable. Bacoli is a cool, undiscovered gem of a town. Dimora dei Lari is a great base camp to explore it if you like Roman archeology (combined with comfort, good taste and good food).

EstoniaBreakfast was pretty abominable. Very basic not any way close to spectacular as advertised. Elevator music turned on in the courtyard in front of room even before 8am woke us up. Outrageously loud party music until 11pm from some other place next door. This place is a venue for parties basically that seconds as a hotel.
Nicely appointed rooms and building standards generally and the staff very freindly and attentive.

AustraliaBe aware that you need your own transport otherwise hotel will need to call a taxi for you. They quite often have parties there however I am a light sleeper and it was OK.
The staff were very good only issue is most only speak Italian however Martina and one of waiters were excellent. Room(305) very spacious with a veranda view over the bay. Martina assisted us with advice re Baia and getting a taxi there to see the underwater Roman ruins (note book Nemo sub online direct).

United KingdomOn the night we stayed there was a function where children were allowed to run around the hotel and stairs to the accommodation until 2am. No staff presence to deter this behaviour.
Beautiful rooms, well maintained and clean. The restaurant was excellent.

United StatesLike many hotels in the area, they do a big business in hosting receptions, especially wedding receptions in the public spaces, which are quite large. So on most evenings there is a lot of noise until around midnight. Not much to do about it: it comes with the territory if you want to explore Miseno, Bacoli, Cuma, Baia.
Only five rooms in this restaurant/hotel/function facility, but very good service. Breakfast was wonderful and served in the room. The view from our deck was stunning, and the hot tub was a nice feature in the evenings. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely first-rate!

IrelandIt's not that I didn't like but just a point to notice, when we saw that the hotel was 30m by car from Napoli airport we considered staying there for our full visit to Napoli. But the hotel is in Bacoli which is a completely different town, meaning the 30m are in a highway with tolls. If you're driving it's still doable, but by taxi it would highly increase your costs (they charge 2x the fare because it's another town).
Staff members were all very professional and helpful; the jacuzzi bedroom is spacious, well decorated and very comfortable with robes and slippers, great bed and pillows; views from the jacuzzi were gorgeous. The restaurant staff was knowledgeable and friendly, shout out to Giuseppe, that on top of great service gave us tips on local attractions.

GermanyThe facility is located on top of the hill in a not very well maintained area, with the closest little post being less than 2 kilometers downhill and is certainly not recommendable for people arriving without their own car. Ordering a taxi to bring you there costs around 30Euros!!!! While looking for a restaurant at around 2p.m. we expected some help from the receptionist, but unfortunately she couldn’t give us any advice, although there are couple of restaurants in that little port that we discovered later by ourselves. We’ve got an impression the reception staff was not very willing to help in any matter. After we have finally managed to get a lunch in a restaurant in one of these restaurants, we couldn’t get a taxi to bring us back uphill on a very hot summer afternoon, because all the taxis are located in a very remote towns and apparently not very willing to come to this area for short rides. So we had to walk all the way up, there are very narrow streets with no sidewalks. Finally we wanted to enjoy the terrace with a jacuzzi, when we discovered the jacuzzi cover was actually sunk inside the jacuzzi. But the worst was to discover a bunch of hair inside the jacuzzi which was a tipping point for us to leave the hotel immediately, despite the fact we have booked a non-refundable option. Overall, just a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT.
Nice room, comfortable bed, great view from the terrace

SwitzerlandI have never left a hotel in my entire life. (50+) I have no idea whom this hotel was built for. Nobody mentioned that there is no way to approach it on foot. You need a car or a taxi or you walk 2 km on a road with very heavy traffic with no sidewalks. You fear for your life. There is no other way, so if you want to go anywhere you do it twice a day. Not to mention there is absolutely nothing in the neighborhood, no beach, no shopping. I have arrived Sunday afternoon, the hotel had no food. There was no place around to buy anything. I was asking the receptionist if there is a patrol station. Yes, on the main road... i walked almost 3 kms to figure out if the petrol station is open, they only sell gas. If they are open... so 3 km back, uphill. The hotel itself is nice but no facilities. The bath and shower are full with stains and breaks. I dont know if its the style... cable hangig out of the wall where the mirror should be. I booked another hotel on the same evening. Expensive lesson to learn. Before you answer how deeply sorry you are, consider refunding some of the 3 days i did not use. I attach a picture about the road where you have to walk with suitcase if you want to get there

GermanyWhat we underestimated was that the hotel is more an event location rather than a hotel. They try to offer fine dining, event location and hotel in one which is hard to manage. On all 3 nights big events (birthdays, weddings..) with loud music took place. Sadly the separation of happenings are not really given, therefore there is loud music, conversations and up and down runs on the hall until late nights. The events claim to take place until 12 but noise was until 1 minimum. Sleeping was not restful and we felt drained every day. On all evenings our car needed to be parked by a in house service due to space issues, which takes some time. In addition the breakfast was unorganized. One day we had croissants, fruits, yoghurt, cheese and ham, the next only croissant and coffee needed to be requests several times. On a side note - not everyone is speaking English, therefore communication was complicated. All in all we would not recommend this hotel due to the above mentioned topics. For this quality, the prices are too high.
The hotel has a beautiful view and a nice interior. The rooms are quite big and have a modern look. The pool on the roof is a highlight.

GreeceThe only problem we had was the cold water of the tap of the shower, we asked to fix it and they acted immediately but in the end we didn’t have all the times of the day warm water.
The service of the hotel was great and the receptionists were very helpful. The hotel had an amazing view we could see both the lake with the ducks and the sea. The room was cozy and clean.
