How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

I booked what I thought the other side of the town to be near my friend. So annoyed about where the actual flat was.

Didn’t love that we needed to go get the key and drop it off but the office was close by.
There was lots of room, it was clean and looked great. It was in a location near amenities.

Few cutlery for five persons, especially knives.
Clean and nice apartment close to the old town. Very friendly staff at the office.

At the end of your stay you have to empty all of the bins and take the trash out to the industrial bins on the street which is something I would have expected the staff to do as part of our stay!

The hosts were very helpful and friendly. The location is very close walking distance to the city centre. I will definitely use their service again when we're in Verona.

we assumed we could sit out on the balcony, however the balcony was small and this was not possible it was not worth paying extra for.
The property was within walking distance to the train station. We had plenty of room and it was very clean. We collected the keys from an office, although close to the property it was tiring to find following a 24 hour delayed flight. Thee air conditioning was great.

One bedroom was very large but the other was tiny, with bunk bed. Air-condition stops automatically so we woke up at night, feeling too hot, to turn it on.
This is a very nice new clean appartment, few minutes walk from the old town. The stuff at the office was very helpfull. Parking at the streets around with free pass.

Noisy air conditioning. Had to check in at an office rather than the flat. The girl in the office wrote down the credit card details on paper. She promised she destroyed it later

Possibly the sofa bed in the kitchen area but there was lots of space for it.
Location was central and walking distance to restaurants, attractions, train station. Apartment and entrance halls were exceptionally clean. Very spacious apartment. Lots of hot water for showers.

Unfortunately the property needs lots of upgrading. The mattress of the big bedroom needs to be replaced. The bathroom also needs some repairs on the shower and a revamp.
Big flat and good location. The place has lots of potential. The company staff renting the flat is very friendly and helpful.

Not much not to like :-)
Very thorough instructions before arrival. Location was good on a quiet street with a few restaurants and breakfast bars/bakeries within close vicinity. Around 600 meter walk to the centre of town by the arena. Great to have free parking, spacious apartment, nice to have two bathrooms. And a very well equpped kitchen.

A bit squashy with teenagers. Perfect for a couple or smaller children
The apartment is in a convenient location and an easy walk to the centre of Verona. It was on the 7th floor of an apartment building but we were given good instructions on how to access, where to park etc. Would have scored more highly but it was a little tight for our family of 4 (2 tall teenagers). Would be great value for a couple.

There were some small ants, but we didn't mind. Don't leave trash opened or food on the table.
Big apartment, almost at the center, two bathrooms, practically 3 bedrooms and separate kitchen and two dining tables to choose. Very quiet. Airconditioned.

We could not make coffee at all as the old fashion coffee maker was so small that it could not be heated on the stove as it was too small. The instructions for walking to the apartment were unclear, and wrong. The leaflet stated it would take only five minutes, whereas it took more than 15 minutes, with luggage during the heat wave.

The airconditioner is located in the corridor and is not enough for the whole apartment. When we went they were renovating the elevator so we had to climb 3 stories and the noise was insufferable.
The apartment is renovated, very nice, clean and spacy. The location is very good close the old city centre, 5 min walk.
