Avoid room #1 it is right next to the elevator (which is very old and groans) meaning you will hear it at all times especially at night

Beautiful tile work in the bathroom, nice sized room. Close to the port if you are taking a ferry to other islands. The owner has employed a most excellent staff.

The lifts needed coins to function (which was provided by host but a hassle if you forgot). There is no one at reception.

The location was great and near the port which was my next destination to Sorrento by ferry. The Alibus also drops off nearby (from the airport) - estimated 5 to 7 mins walk.

The only thing I could possibly say is that the TV was not a smart TV and therefore lacked the internet TV apps (Netflix/Prime,etc), so we were limited to Italian TV! But overall this was a very minor detail.

We were met by the host, Marco, in the morning and were able to leave our luggage for the day before check in. Marco offered us a bottle of cold water each, before showing us all of the facilities available, including how to use the AC! He gave us an excellent list of restaurants and activities to try whilst in Naples and was always on hand to answer any queries we had. The best part of the experience at Don Raffaele was the view from our balcony (see photos). I would recommend staying here to any of my friends and will hopefully stay here again in the future.

Saturday night was very noisy because you’re right by the pier, but most of the other nights were comfortable. I would’ve liked a fan. The air conditioning kept it cool enough, but there was no circulation, but I never asked for one so I really can’t say that that wasn’t a choice if I had to ask.

Location couldn’t have been any better. It was right across the street from the pier and everything I wanted to do was boat tours…. Rooms are sparse but clean and comfortable. Marco was very pleasant and allowed me to check in early and made sure I was OK. I locked myself out and he came right over. He couldn’t have been nicer. There was a taxi stand on the corner and there were party stores available if you wanted water or snacks. Walking distant restaurants. There was an espresso machine in the common area and also a microwave plus extra snacks. Your room was stocked with a few snacks, tea, and coffee with an electric pot for heating water. There was a safe and a small refrigerator in the room.. you have to put a coin in the elevator to go up and down and that is supplied in the common room and you just help yourself to the coins that you need daily. There’s a series of three keys, one to open the door outside,one to open the room where the seven rooms are on the eighth floor ..along with the common area and then a key to your room. All are on a chain so it’s easy to use.. The rooms are very good size. The bathrooms are good size and I had a balcony that looked out to the pier. It was a wonderful price.

Everything was perfect

We had a fantastic stay at Don Raffaele Resort! The room was spotless, comfortable, and had an amazing view. The location couldn’t be better—walking distance to all the main sights, close to the metro, right across from the port for ferries to Capri, and super convenient for the airport shuttle. Our host was incredible, giving us the best recommendations for what to see, where to eat, and where to grab drinks. Truly made our trip to Naples even more special. Highly recommend!

Housekeeping was a little hit and miss as we were a longer stay but Beds made daily. There was a loud metal creaking at various times which was slightly annoying - sounded like the room above but could have been the lift mechanism. It wasn’t a deal breaker though.

Location is fantastic. Short walk from the ports for boat trips, near metros and easy access to key points of interest. Rooms are on 8th floor of a large older building by the castle. Doorman on the building ground floor during the day. Lifts worked fine. Small coffee making facility in the entry area which was nice. Room size was fine - functional bathroom with plenty of hot water. aircon kept it cool. Host is mostly remote but very responsive and helpful. We had an early check in which was much appreciated.

I didn’t have a ten cent coin when I first arrived! This meant I couldn’t use the lift. I would just advise anyone checking in to have one! Going up 8 flights of stairs with large suitcases in that heat was so tiring! I really appreciated the property putting out coins for guests to use the lift.

Location was close to the port which was great…like so close! It was a 3 minute walk. This location also meant we were close to a lot of excursion pick up/drop off spots. Also was super short walk from where airbus dropped us off. Photo attached to this review shows view from balcony- proximity to port. Room was clean. Building was quiet and secure. Managed to arrange an early check in which was lovely.

Marco was the best host He made sure we are well taken cared of during our stay. Thank you Marco you are a star!! The aircon did not work in our room during the heat wave and he moved us to another unit that has strong aircon. My husband loved the new coffee machine and that he can make coffee anytime of the day. I like the view from our first room. Castle and another castle on top of the hill. Location is great 3 min walk from the metro and the airport bus terminal.do not try to walk to the old city center during summer take the metro. The unit was in the 8th floor but with a lift. You need 10 cents to operate the lift during office hours. Marco provides unlimited 10 cent for all his guests.

Everything was as expected.

There was no breakfast. However a coffee machine was provided in the common area with small snacks. The location was great. The resort was safe, clean and quiet. It was a great place to come back to after a day of exploring.

The location of the accommodation is very good. It is close to the port and the metro. It's not easy to get in, but the host is very helpful and you can call him anytime. Everything was nice and clean. The room has a kettle, fridge, hairdryer, we were given bottled water and small snacks. The shared kitchen is well equipped (coffee maker, toaster, microwave). The air conditioning kept the room cool and comfortable. Next time we come to Naples, I will book the same place!

Nothing really though it might be useful to know that the resort itself is on the eighth floor and guests need a ten cent piece to operate the lift to get there. Just an Italian quirk.

Perfect central location with amazing views. Staff were very helpful, going out of their way to accomodate any requests. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom with great shower. An added bonus was a small central kitchenette exclusively for guests including a microwave which definitely came in handy.
