The food served in the restaurant for the evening meal was excellent and presented beautifully with first class service from the staff. Excellent choices on the menu and the wine was delicious.

RomaniaThe shower was leaking outside bathroom. The owner of the hotel was a bit freak control; you could see her everywhere, talking over the employees. We booked an extra day; however that morning she told us we were supposed to check out (minor misunderstanding).
We visited Posada at the beginning of September and I liked the area was not so touristic, it keeps a the local vibe and gave us the feeling Sardinia is worth visiting. The stuff of the hotel we're very friendly and hospitable, they gave us good tips for visiting the area (even the chef, who, by the way, cooks tasty Sardinian dishes at the hotel restaurant). Many thanks to Sara, the receptionist, who helped us with renting a car. The hotel is 30 minutes away by foot from Beaches Iscraios, Su Tiriarzu, di San Giovanni. Luckily the hotel offers bikes for rent, thus you can even visit the Nuraghe di San Pietro or Castello della Fava which dominates Posada and the beaches. We also enjoyed the breakfast (though Italian, full of sweets); thumbs up for the lady serving the breakfast, obeying the Covid hygienic rules, patient with all unruly guests.

I would return to Sardinia if only to visit this hotel again. Staff were exceptionally friendly and willing to help. Indeed when our flight was cancelled they helped with all the ensuing complications and made us feel like family. Free wifi, ample parking, and staff who spoke English to the extent of explaining local cuisine made this an exceptional experience. The hotel was scrupulously clean and the surrounding foliage watered and trimmed regularly. Outdoor seating offered both shade and sun as desired, and dining was available either inside or outside together with room service. I can recommend our room with a balcony and outdoor seating, set back from the road, it provided a peaceful haven for the night and place to relax and read. The choice for breakfast was excellent, including meats, cheese, cakes, breads, fresh fruit and many other delights. Staff were attentive and provided a range of drinks as requested. An extensive dinner menu offered a range of meats, cheeses, fish and vegetarian options, as well as pizza. Recommendations for local cuisine were available, together with Sardinian wines and beers. Used by residents and locals alike it was easy to see why the restaurant is so popular. “Off menu” dishes can be ordered in advance, and apparently during the high season the menu is even broader. On the outskirts of the town, the centre can be reached in a 5 minute walk, and the old town next to the tower in 15 minutes. Great beaches are probably best reached by car (in less than 10 minutes), although it would be possible to walk to the nearest beach in 20 minutes.

NetherlandsThe bed was very bad. You could feel the springs in your back. The room was stuffy and old. The staff at the desk reacted a bit unbothered.
The bathroom was spacious. A lovely lady helped us with picking the items that we wanted for breakfast. Quiet area.
