I like that the hotel was close to the beach as well as the old city. Took advantage of using the pool located on the roof of thee hotel. Breakfast was lovely with a wide variety available plus excellent coffee.

The only less positive point is the quality of the fitness room. Small and very cheap equipment. But all the rest is very nice.

Our GPS failed to find the hotel. Check directions before you go. Best to avoid rooms on the back of the hotel because the busy train line is extremely close.

We stayed at Rafaello because it was a short walk to Uliassi restaurant. Our fourth floor room had a view of the sea. The excellent breakfast (hot and cold) was extensive. Staff were all very helpful and most spoke good English. The rooftop pool and jacuzzis were clean and well looked after; the 360 degree view from the pool area was stunning. If you want a parking space in the garage, best to reserve in advance because it is quite small.

Modern hotel with great rooftop pool and fabulous location next to beach and very close to town centre too. Although hotel is close to railway there is no noise in the bedroom. Lovely staff.

overpriced, tired rooms behind a pretty facade
    • Leisure trip

Very outdated furnishings, all furniture and curtains, bathroom etc were like at a very old and much cheaper venue. Shower had a strange half-height door plus shower curtains which were filthy and moldy. Strange smells all thru the hotel (reception area, room floors). Reception personnel unfriendly and possibly inapt, as they canceled our booking (mistakenly?) while we were staying at the property, causing many problems Wifi use only possible if you register with your google or facebook account, which is a no go if you care about your data. More like a "we have to stay here for a night so we'll bear with it" feeling than a "nice relaxing vacation" vibe, which did ruin our three nights here.

the location is pretty perfect, close to the beach as well as the historic city center. The small pool and sun-chairs on the roof are a welcome place to catch some sun and refresh on days too windy to go down to the beach. Housekeeping personnel very nice. Double windows kept the train noise to an acceptable minimum (room facing / right above train tracks).

    Nothing to dislike

Hotel Duchi dell Rover is a great hotel. It is located beside the train station and within 5 minutes walk of the beach. It is wonderfully clean. All staff members are so friendly and welcoming. Our room was quite spacious and very clean. Everything worked well, WiFi, air conditioning, and the multi-channel TV. Breakfast , which is included in the price, was very good. The rooftop pool was very good ,if a little small. However the beach is less than 5 minutes walk away. An added bonus is the free bike hire right at the hotel.

    Senigallia between sea and town

The room I stayed in which is the standard one was a bit dated in terms of decor. The bed and the furniture in the room were a bit old so lets say that the room was not matching the new lobby. It was not bad just a bit dated. I understand however that there are new other categories of rooms which have been refurbished so you might want to go for those ones. The breakfast was very rich in terms of offering including gluten free selections and juice freshly squeezed. Shame only for the pastries and cakes that were of the supermarket type. Coffee and cappuccino were decent.

The room was very quiet despite being close to the railroad tracks. There were two triple glazed windows to make sure the room is quiet. The location is excellent, it is close to the old village city center with a lot of charm, history and a lot of restaurants. The hotel is also just a 2 min walk from the lighthouse pier and the beach. The hotel offers bikes free of charge for you to use to go around. Rooftop pool is nice and there are also 2 whirlpool tubs to relax. The view from the rooftop is also good spacing from the sea to the town to the hills behind it. The outside and the lobby are newly refurbished so the place looks very good on arrival. There is also a spa with a sauna at the rooftop but there was nobody operating it. Also there was no bar on the rooftop. The restaurant at the ground floor looked nice but we didnt try it.
