Gentile Ruth, thank you very much for your review. We are happy that you appreciated the services offered, despite the uncomfortableness of the beds you reported. The interior of the hotel has a distinctive style that you may or may not like and clearly there are improvements that need to be made and are planned. However, the facility offers all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. For breakfast we provide products for all intolerances ( lactose, gluten..), the important thing is to NOTIFY the staff who will know how to provide such products because they are generally NOT displayed in the breakfast room. Dear Katja, we are terribly sorry to read this review. Unfortunately the smell of smoke, due to previous guests not respecting the established rules, remains for hours in some rooms despite being ventilated and disinfected by the cleaning staff. Obviously if you had reported the problem to reception the room would have been immediately changed to another one, but we received no complaints from you during the stay. As for the mattresses, they were actually all replaced less than a year ago. We hope to change your mind in a future and more pleasant stay. Best Regards, Hotel Due Mori

Dear Neil, we are terribly sorry to read this review of yours. Although we can understand that you did not like our facility we feel that it is not correct to write that the owner tried to charge you twice for your stay, as this is completely untrue and incorrect. It was simply a small initial oversight, which was immediately noticed and resolved by the owner himself. The cockroaches in the toilet were clearly not put there by us, but it does happen that sometimes, if you leave the bathroom window open, some insects get inside given the proximity to the hotel garden. Finally, nowhere is it written that our breakfast is international, however we do provide both sweet and savoury products. We also do not understand your assertion regarding the coffee, since it was brought to you by the owner herself every time you requested it. Best Regards, Hotel Due Mori

We would just like to point out that you were not charged twice (otherwise we would clearly have refunded the amount immediately), but the cvc number of your card was wrong and that is why you were asked to pay directly at check-in.
