    Nothing.

The hotel was really nice and in a very good location. The staff and family members were lovely and very helpful. I was in Sorrento for a family wedding. The family were all in different hotels and for part of my stay I was at the hotel on my own. I felt very safe and well looked after and would stay there again.L

Good value for money, the location is perfect, very close to the city center and to the marina piccola, where u can take boat trips. The room was ok, big enough and comfortable, even if we didn't have properly a nice view. Breakfast is vary but the quality isn't the best. Staff was very helpful, giving a lot of good suggestions for organizing our holiday in Costiera.

It was €5 to have Wi-fi in your room. It’s €5 for many devices. We got charged €5 per device and was only told that we could have several devices for this price near the end of our stay.

Location was great. Hotel clean and staff friendly. After reading some other reviews I was a little worried about staying there. But I was pleasantly surprised and had a wonderful stay.

    Absolutely nothing

Michael, Luigi & the staff were very professional and helpful. Service and hotel were excellent, location quiet but with easy access to the main part of town. The breakfast included and food ordered was delicious. Great selection of tours to surrounding areas and islands. Michael and staff really made our stay memorable.

Hotel Eden Room seemed upgraded recently with current card key door security and bathroom fixtures. Shower was European and typically small. Furniture was not current. Room was stark. A safe was provided that used a physical key and was attached to a small bedside table that could be physically lifted and removed from the room. Breakfast for Italy was indistinct and coffee was provided through a self service coffee machine. A 6 story building with pleasant grounds it had only 1 elevator for approximately 10 rooms per floor. We found that the elevator failed to work at least twice per day. Their "free" internet only was available in the lobby area. You had to pay to use it in the room. The staff was generally indifferent to the needs of the guests. It is not a 3 star hotel.

I think I got the reject room: Tiny, No view, and two uncomfortable single beds pushed together. No WiFi in the room either. The breakfast was more of an English breakfast than an Italian one. I didn't enjoy the coffee from the self service machine.

It was a short walk to most places and cheap price for Sorrento. Staff and guests were nice and friendly.

This is a place of contradictions. I am not sure how this hotel has managed to acquire a three star rating as it is not up that standard. A lovely pool and garden in a nice, quiet setting and then you get into the hotel.... The ride up is in a small, very dirty elevator to use a very up-to-date electronic key entry system into a room with very cheap, very worn and grubby furniture but with a nice big TV. The room and bathroom when I arrived was very clean but during the stay very little cleaning was done other than to make the bed. The bed was a double headboard with 2 twin beds pushed together. Very uncomfortable. While the entry key system that also controls the air conditioner is very efficient, it emits a bright blue light that remains on constantly. Unless you can find a way to cover it, it will certainly keep you awake. Breakfast is substantial enough but of poor quality. The cheapest breads and cereals. In the land of great coffee here you are served from what is essentially a vending machine that you might find in a petrol station. While you have Michael who is always helpful, there is the desk manager who doesn't understand the basics of customer service. When asked to have a word with an off-duty employee who was marching around, shouting and swearing into his phone in front of all the guests on the terrace, I was told I needed to be more tolerant and there was nothing he could do. It wouldn't take much to bring this hotel up to a three star standard. It is a shame because it has so much going for it in other ways. Set your expectations lower and pray the weather is nice so you can spend most of your time in the garden or by the pool should you decide to stay here.

The hotel is in a very good location right in the city, close to the train station and the port. Though it is in the city it is in a very quiet setting with a nice garden and pool. Michael, on the hotel staff, was friendly and very helpful throughout the stay. He is an asset to the property.

The pictures are not accurate, especially the pool area. we booked the hotel for its pool and didnt use it once...not worth it (instead we just paid for chairs down by the water) Our first room had ants in the bathroom, so we got moved to a room that looked to be recently renovated.

The location is ideal but that is pretty much it. You're better off trying to find an AirBnB bc the "hotel" amenities you would expect are not that great.

It would have been nice to have free WIFI throughout the hotel and not just in reception area.

The hotel Eden is perfectly positioned to explore Sorrento (just 5 minutes walk to main square). And it is very close to the train station to travel to Pompeii, Naples etc. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The pool area was also a nice place to relax.

Our bed (room 506) was a little too hard for us (pers preference of course). The room air cond was only capable of reducing the room temp by around 5C max and with an ambient of 30C each day resulted in fragmented sleep (never less than 25c in the room and needed the AC fan on max all night (noisey)). When asked for the ac unit to be looked at we didn't get see any improvement. No restaurant in the hotel for evening meals (breakfast ok though). The room was a small box room with en-suite and while clean & functional, it was a bit too small for two people.

The location was very good - only a short 2 min walk to the main town Plaza. The staff were very friendly with great recommendations of places to visit & places to dine, also were good to help secure event reservations. The room & the hotel was very clean.

No sheets changed, just turned around (as I dripped a peach, so spots)4 night stay. And the bed spread on the reverse side had stains which were appaling, took it off from start. So room very tired and in need of a over Hall, walls. Furniture old matched up stuff, grotty. wardrobe thick dust, husband put a coat up there 😡 It needed a top to toe really good clean, and bathroom shower. On forth day knocked at 5 15 pm to do room, had just come in as been out since 8am Pompeii so declined, as was on heat exhaustion and ridiculous time. Breakfast staff non comunitive and very poor food, coffee out man aching that was disgusting, mostly cakes so a diabetes nightmare. .. we, travel over world on motorcycle and stay for pennies or big bucks, this extremely over priced , poor value. We have had first class accommodation, for a fraction of price. Ten pound for a omelette on its own, I'm not mean but that was just robbery. Location is the only plus, that excellent (late booking so couldn't get our usual hotel up the hill 😥,a moral there. Pool looks far more flattering in photo than reality. Didn't use.

The room was absolutely "economy room", veeeeery essential, simple cheap furniture but colourful and functional. They don't provide toothpaste on request but this is a minor thing... The breakfast was definetely too simple and cheap. Everyday same food and the coffee was not great. After the first 2 days we decided to not have breakfast at the hotel anymore but only buying breakfast from the little shops next to the hotel. WIFI is fast at the main hall. The fact that they don't provide free wifi in their rooms but they charge 5 euro a day for one device is a big drawback.

The location of the hotel was excellent, few meters from the main square of Sorrento. Our room was tidy, essential and clean, just a little bit of dust over the radiator of the bathroom. The staff was nice especially the people from reception. They contacted the amalfi coast tour agencies for us and they were always helpful if we asked information about touristic attractions, time schedules of public transports etc etc.
