I really liked the look of the reception . I think the appearance and decor is excellent . The floor tiles and lighting are excellent. Also I really enjoyed the breakfast with hot breakfast as well as usual continental breakfast with very good scrambled eggs etc . The bed itself was excellent and the room was lovely with a nice balcony you can relax on outside

Some of the night receptionist not fluent in English . Got some question but can not understand what I'm saying. Also would be nice if there's a kettle / tea or coffee facility in the room.

The bathroom ventilation is not good. so it's easy to smell. The bed has no duvet, which we found unusual compared to all other hotels we stayed at. They had a wool-blanket in the wardrobe, but it had a smell probably due to storage.

We booked a small room no view, but we got a partial sea view with a terrace which was a pleasant surprise. Seems that we visited at the very end of the season, and this has contributed to our positive experience. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety and exceeded my expectations for the price paid, but the quality is not the best (but good). The receptionist was friendly, and so were the women helping with breakfast. The beaches need to be paid for. As we went end of the season, they were all empty and had discounted prices. Unfortunately, it was very windy one of the days and the sea waves were so high.

The hotel is starting to look a little dated & could do with updating. That said, everything works & is clean.

It was very central for Viareggio shops, beaches & restaurants. The hotel is clean, comfortable & welcoming. We have stayed here before & would stay again.

Not having hotel car parking. Would like coffee making facilities in the room. Not much cereal choice at breakfast. Fridge - couldn't stand a bottle of wine in it!

Great location. Our room was the top floor with direct access to the solarium with stunning views over the sea. The staff were extremely friendly and all very clean. Breakfast was good. Room wasn’t that big but the outside space more than made up for that.

NB! It is not hotels fault in particular but all the beach near the promenade is 'private' and you cannot see the sea while walking by promenade or easy access it. We discovered that it was still possible to reach the sea from the very end of all 'bagnos' via narrow umbrella free space, but you can only walk by the coast and guards did not even allow us to leave shoes on the ground while we were swimming. Better just go by bus nbr35 to the unspoiled public beach at the end of the bus route.

This is a nice and clean hotel, comfortable bed, air conditioned rooms. We had two rooms - one with the sea view and the other facing the inner yard. Sea view means also promenade view and if you chose it then you should be ready for busy nightlife outside. It was nice to see people walking, talking and enjoying the summer. We slept with windows closed and sound isolation was good. The other room was quiet even with open windows. The breakfast is excellent and good coffee. There was very nice lady taking care of guests in the breakfast room. We felt welcomed!

The room was slightly small and although there was one bedside table, there was also a desk and a chair, a bedside table in its place, for us, would have been more useful.

Hotel Eden is in a good location, facing the promenade with plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants within easy walking distance. The room was clean, had a fridge and a balcony. A bonus was a rooftop terrace with sunbeds and great view overlooking the beach. The breakfast was varied with hot and cold options and the staff were welcoming and helpful.

quite noisy as we were on the first level but could close it all off and air conditioning kicked in.
