I am really sorry to say that the overall good impression was dented by the individual serving night shifts in the reception -simply put, one of the most rude and unpleasant person we met. If handing room keys, helping to store luggage, being respectful to guests and explain regulations in a courteous way is not your cup of tea you should not work in the hospitality industry. We got the impression this person was forced to work here against their will.

Location was excellent, rooms were clean and functional. Breakfast was very nice and abundant (for Italian Standards). Service was also good with attentive and helpful personnel apart from the night shift receptionist.

Only thing was the beds were super hard, everything else was fab

The location was great and the hotel lovely. We were lucky as had a balcony with a beautiful view toward the ocean. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent I thought. I had let them know I was gluten free and both mornings there was a gf basket waiting for me which was excellent as for those who are gf you know the deal of eating little from buffets.

The mattress was the worst I have ever slept in. Springs were sticking out and it was hard. Might be okay for a couple of nights, but after seven nights I had a sore back. At breakfast I had a hard time every morning to get a second cappuccino, I either received it very reluctantly or my request was ignored completely. Dinner had to be booked at breakfast or you had to eat elsewhere. Every time you leave you have to give reception your room key, they insist on it. There were always lots of people staying at the hotel, so if you don’t mind the things I just mentioned above, it is a nice hotel for the money you pay.

Great location, just a few steps from the train station. Property was clean and well maintained.

There was no blanket, we used bedsheets and the thick cover. The shower head has mold, and we missed a minibar.

Unable to book a table for dinner. Frustrating since we were not advised we had to book when we arrived at 1500hrs. Then at 1700hrs ....restaurant was full... Parking very restricted.

The location was perfect as Nervi train station was just around the corner. The staff were very professional and quite warm. Everyone treated the guests warmly and help was available when needed. The dinners were always very tasty and a big “ thank you” to the professionals who served us.
