Having to leave at the end of the stay 🙁

The service and staff were excellent so friendly and accommodating I traveled with a broken leg The staff changed our room and serving us the best home cooked breakfast on our balcony and couldn’t do enough for us Thank you so much I would recommend a stay here will only delight !!!

Not Claudia's problem but you definitely need to hire a car as taxi's are practically non existent or incredibly overpriced.

The pictures do not do it justice! Essenza is better than it looks. Modern, very clean and beautifully designed. Claudia and the team were very accommodating and friendly and we enjoyed the freshly baked breakfast goodies Claudia prepared for us daily. P.s Perfect location if you are attending a wedding at Amastuola.

No real criticism, we had a balcony which was great with table chairs - maybe a recliner would have been nice but overall nothing we did not like .

Breakfast was excellent, home cooking at its best. Very clean and well kept property and room was spacious and comfortable. Our host was superb. There was even a casual bar, restaurant for dinner within walking distance.

The area is up and coming but the apartment is behind an electric gate and just beautiful

The property is very well maintained and amazingly clean - the breakfast is all home made and the service is lovely - I would definitely recommend staying there. I was there for a wedding at a local venue

You need a car to visit Essenza- there is no public transport. It is not close to town and there is no public transport. Note that you require an older narrow three point electric plug to access most power points.

We liked everything at Essenza B&B, especially our host, Claudia, who made us feel very much at home. She was very welcoming and provided us with an excellent hearty breakfast each morning. Her homemade lemon and almond cake was the best 👌 as well as all the variety of pastries and delicious fresh fruits presented in such a beautiful way that you were very tempted to try everything. A gorgeous property with lots of attention to detail. Claudia showed a genuine interest in us and gave us great recommendations for places to visit, including Castellenata Marina. We would certainly recommend Essenza B&B to family and friends. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay, Claudia ❤️

Essenza is an amazing oasis of luxury in the very heart of Puglia. The lovely owner, a perfect hostess, was constantly on call to help no matter how trivial the problem. The breakfasts were beautiful and varied and the perfectly kept accommodation is immaculate and in pristine condition. You could not do better than to experience this lovely place.

The whole place was spotlessly clean. The breakfasts were delicious with fabulous, home made, cakes and pastries. Claudia also provided needle and thread for emergency repair! All the staff were friendly, professional and competent. Loved the jacuzzi too.

Claudia was an amazing hostess: very friendly, attentive and went out of her way to help us when needed. You can tell how much she cares about offering a great stay for Essenza guests. The rooms were incredibly clean and we could not ask for anything more from the facilities. Breakfast was especially a highlight with Claudia‘s fresh and tasty home-made baked goods.

Nothing, everything perfect.

Charming new B & B purposefully designed around owners home. Lovely bright exceptionally clean & comfortable room. Secure parking & close to Massafra town. Claudia is the perfect host & she gives a superb breakfast including her lovely lemon homemade cake. She was also helpful with suggestions for restaurants which she made bookings for us. We stayed two nights but would have been very happy to stay longer had we not already made other arrangements. Thank you so much Claudia!

Nothing, we loved everything. The area is rural so a car is needed. We are used to London !

The staff were amazing and went above and beyond every day! The best host we have ever experienced in Italy - thank you so much. We visited for a wedding nearby and it was the perfect holiday. Essenza have thought of everything 👌🏽

The location of the hotel is a bit remote in a shabby environment. Close to Matera and that's what we came for.

We were received very friendly and the rooms were spacious, clean and fully equipped. Delicious breakfst en safe parking behind the fence.
