Very nice property, really close to Mount Etna, Catania and Taormina. I had a great experience and the hotel staff is very helpful and can book amazing excursions to the volcano. I loved the structure, the breakfast, the dinner in the restaurant and the swimming pool (it is still possible to swim in October). I would definitely choose this structure again.

Minus is the traffic noise you hear, there is a busy road running next to the hotel, you don't see it but you absolutely hear it, especially at night in the rooms. There is no possibility to walk into town because of this busy road which has no sidewalks. Bathrooms a little outdated ( narrow shower cubicles) and the minibar, at least in our room, made an awful noise, first night we slept badly because of it, next night we unplugged it.

The place has an excellent atmosphere, rooms are situated around the courtyard with lots of plants, flowers, beautiful colors, like you step back in time. At the back of the house a large swimming pool surrounded by sunbeds and chairs. From this side a wonderful view at the Etna. Staff is very helpful and nice. Possibility to book guided trip to the Etna. Good breakfast. Good restaurant.

Amazing location on the Eastern coast of Sicily. Everything was perfect during my stay and the room was really clean and quiet, but what I appreciated most was the kindness of the staff, which provided useful information and tips. The swiiming pool, the big parking area and the free wi-fi connection are a plus!I'm grateful and I'll choose again this hotel for my future holydays.

Breakfast was a mix of meats, cheeses, cakes and cereals and made to order coffee. Really enjoyed it. Hotel was quaint a real find. It's not five star but you are not booking that type of place. It's an old Italian house in a good location. Restaurant on site good value and quality of ingredients excellent. Really recommend savoury pastry starters, veal and slow cooked tomato pasta. 5/7 mins from pebbly beach but water clean. Taomarina nearby and great day out. Recommend old town and gardens. Finally the staff especially Luisa were terrific. Very engaging, polite and she was passionate to make you feel welcome. It's not the Ritz but would recommend

    Nothing

The location was good for travelling around this part of Sicily. Our room faced Etna and we had fantastic views of the surrounding area. The gardens were well maintained with large pool and lots of sun loungers. There is plenty of on site parking. The room was spacious and well maintained. The bed was very comfortable and the window shutters kept out all the sunlight so a good night sleep could be had. There was a good breakfast selection and the restaurant next door very welcoming although separate from the hotel itself. The staff were very helpful and friendly. All in all a fantastic stay.

    No complaints.

Lovely view of Mount Etna (when it does eventually appear out of the clouds). A real green oasis hidden away off the main road through Giarre. You would not know how close you were to the road, once you are in the property. Excellent food at the restaurant. I had a delicious sea bream, so delicately flavoured. I also had a melt in the mouth steak with red wine sauce, cooked to perfection, with a salad. Then I just strolled round the gardens to my room.

Nice and cozy hotel located at the foot of Etna. From our room and from the balcony situated on the mountain side there was a great view over the landscape. Having breakfast in the yard in front of the restaurant was great. Breakfast was great. Good parking facilities. The city hosting the hotel looked a little worn a first sight, but this seems to be typical for cities in Sicilia. However, entering the hotel area was like going into an other world. Nice, clean and cozy.

The rooms could do with a 'refresh' and slightly less institutional paint colours, but generally the hotel provided good value-for-money.

This Hotel set in an old building just off the main road is delightful. We were warmly greeted and our ground-floor room faced out onto the pool (there was a hedge for privacy) and beyond the pool to a view of Mt Etna. The room was adequate, but not 'flash'. the best things were [a] the staff who were unstintingly helpful and friendly; [b] the restaurant and breakfast buffet which both served well-prepared delicious food. there was no problem for my veggie wife and plenty on the menu for her to eat.
