How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Our room was perfect for an over night stay. My only grouse was that the toilet did not always flush.
Staff were lovely. Breakfast great and my coffee was served just the way I liked it.

I think the hotel is just fine, for what it was for us. We needed a clean room for the night with parking. I am sorry to the lady at the reception, but I can’t give the hotel a 10, because the bathroom was so old and in need of renovation, that we didn’t even attempt to use more than the toilet. Otherwise the room was spacious and ok.
It’s hard to say I think, but I will try by saying that the location is ok for visiting for a night and exploring Arezzo. Otherwise the hotel is old and the facilities reflect that. What we liked was the breakfast, it was fresh both sweet and savory. The staff was nice and especially Ilaria, who checked us in and also wrote down dinner recommendations. Free parking is available and we could see our car from the room.

- The location is a bit further away from city centre (30min on foot) - There is a bus though every ~30-60min - The shower in the room is a bit outdated and not in the best shape
- The hospitality of the hotel-stuff and their professionalism is really great. We had a very difficult day in Arezzo and they did everything they could to support and guide us! - The beds are very comfortable - Good quality of pillow and mattress. - The Breakfast was excellent - Great variety, fresh juice and very good mixture of sweet and salty options

One of us did not have a bedside lamp, which was a pity for not being able to read.
We stayed one night in the hotel on our way back. The room was large and clean and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom too was comfortable and nicely warm. We enjoyed the big variety of food at breakfast.

No noise insulation in the rooms, the cleaners started hovering at around 08am and it feel they were inside our room. Bedroom was OK but very basic in exchange for the price, there was no attention to detail and no toiletries were offered, not even hand soap.
Superb breakfast, free parking, friendly staff.

Great hotel dor a night stop. Good size room with comfortable bed, small but nice bathroom. Breakfast is simply but okay. From price point of view perfect.

Although the room was generally spacious and very good standard, including the bathroom, the actual bath/shower was very dated with poor water flow and looked much older than everything else. The restaurant had friendly and efficient staff but was not a proper restaurant. Guests are allocated time slots and expected to vacate tables quickly for both dinner and breakfast. Not really congruent with a nice travel experience and definitely not Italian "Slow Food". Food is all self-service buffet - more work canteen than restaurant.
Most facilities were very good. Staff very professional and friendly. Not too far from autostrada.

the breakfast has to be a good and proper breakfast,i travel alot and i know what the 4STAR HOTEL SERVER FOR BREKFAST BUTT YOURS IS NOTHING TO WRITE HOME ABOUT. BREAKFAST IS NOT ONLY BREAG,HAM OR CHEESE ,SOME OTHER FOOD ARE TO BE THERE.
the room was okay but there was not kettle for hot water and no cups for tea in a standard room ,the staff said i need to pay for it,that is not nice enough. the breakfast does not what it. the bathroom is licking .
