I didn’t like the fact that the hotel doesn’t have a ski room to leave your ski equipment or any spa or gym facilities

I loved the variety of options the hotel offers for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The staff are extremely welcoming, and the rooms are high tech.

All the rooms have Mountain Views - so don’t bother paying extra for a Mountain View room. we did but still didn’t get the room with the ‘better’ Mountain View.

walking distance to the town centre and bus station. staff at breakfast was amazing, so friendly and helpful and went above and beyond - I think his name is Massimo

the design is very nice. the staff maximo who served us during breakfast was superb. he was always smiley, prompt and even gave us mango and remembered what we needed every morning we showed up during breakfast!

As per some of the other reviews, the noise from the VIP club was quite loud on the Friday night. We stayed Mon-Sat so were only affected one night. The other nights were very quiet.

Great modern room with a fabulous view. Location was an easy walk into town which was handy for going out but the hotel is a long walk to the lifts. There is a bus stop close by and the buses come around every 15mins (depending on the time of day) so if you time it right, this is a good option. There's a great bar downstairs which was a good meeting spot for pre-dinner drinks (we travelled with extended family). Breakfasts were amazing. Special mention to Massimo. Super efficient, friendly and anticipated our every move.

the only issue I had was that I thought the rooms were a little too small

For the price they could have free tea and coffee making during the day but it was extra charge. We we warned about the night club on Friday night and asked for quiet rooms. (not all of us did)

the night club was open over midnight. Some customers were talking until 4:00am at lobby and their rooms. They were extremely noisy on last Saturday.

the hotel is just a little far from the action of town.

Staff felt very inexperienced (I think they might have just opened for the summer season). They tried to be helpful but they didn’t seem to know what to do in many occasions. e.g. (1) we asked for the first aid kit (to patch up some minor scratches) and we were initially told they didn’t have one by one staff member, but when we asked a different person later we were provided with what we needed. (2) A used tea cup (with tea stain and the bottom) wasn’t changed / washed after housekeeping, and when we told front desk about it we were met with an eye-roll. (3) no coffee capsules were provided despite having a Nespresso machine, and when we asked the front desk, somehow they could only provide them the next day… None of these issues were fatal per se, but for the 5-star positioning this hotel is going for, the level of service felt inadequate.

The property was newly renovated so the hardware was very nice. One can tell the materials and amenities are of high quality.
