Having to leave and maybe the breakfast having more choice but that wasn't a major factor

We arrived last Thursday and left yesterday 31st May, Clean comfortable friendly, attentive staff, very helpful, the hotel had character and was very welcoming and close to the city centre. Would definitely recommend the Europa and would mostly definitely return to Europa to stay again, thank you to the staff for making our stay a memorable one.

We booked a quadruple room with one double bed and two singles. The two single beds were the fold out kind, very low and not very comfortable. Not suitable for adults at the price we paid. The period features of the hotel are very nice, however here and there you see some decor elements that are a bit random and don't match the style.

Great location close to the town centre, staff was very nice and helpful, very good breakfast selection.

The hairdryer! It's just a tube attached to the wall that gently blows lukewarm air! On arrival there is nowhere outside to unload your bags from your car as there is no standing on the road. You must find a car park on the street somewhere around the block and then inform the reception of your car registration. Alternatively you can park in their private carpark but you still have to go to reception first to get instructions as to how to find it.

Great location. Cafe Europa which is attached is lovely.

The decoration is a bit tired and could do with a clean up, very slow and ancient lift, the hotel in general seems to have seen better days. Same for the rooms, old style and heavy keys, decoration of the standard room was basic and dated. The receptionist was pretty aloof upon arrival compared to the warm welcome in other Italian hotels we had visited but was OK afterwards.

Excellent location in the heart of Ferrara, opposite the castle and close to all major areas. Easy parking in the courtyard. Renovated and pleasant bathroom, wifi worked properly. Good recommendations for restaurants provided by reception. Good breakfast.

The soundproofing between rooms is very bad - could hear everything from the bathroom of adjoining room.

Location was excellent. The Staff were very helpful and friendly. They have free bicycles for the use of guests.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank the whole hotel staff - and separate Elena - for their services, their kindness, hospitality and their help in everything! I can heartfully recommend the Hotel Europa to anyone visiting Ferrara! The hotel is unspeakably beautiful. Impressive interior, all of the service if over clas, the hotel has the most professional staffs, and its really just a few steps (150-170 meters) from downtown attractions. I'm thankful very much for all of the kindness of Hotel Europa!

Hotel was very clean. Staff were wonderful - I arrived in the evening and was given a good recommendation for the only open restaurant in town. Parking was great. Beautiful location. Thank you!

    For me, it was perfect.

The Hotel Europa felt like a proper 'grand hotel', from the reception foyer and public rooms, the level and quality of reception staff, and the excellent room (with huge ensuite). In particular the Reception staff (day and evening) were extremely helpful in resolving an issue with printing my flight boarding card.

It was written hotel parking in the yard. We took this hotel just for that. When we arrived there were no parking for us even it was written during reservation. We had to circle with the car 45 minutes to find public parking and to carry bags 200 meter to hotel. In front of the hotel trere is not even space to park 1 minute to drop off bags.

50 m from main attraction. good breakfast for Italy.

This hotel located in the city center is perfect for an evening walk in this beautiful historical town! Bus stop in front of the entrance, big parking lot just round the corner and many restaurants close by. Friendly and professional the people at the reception. Raccomanded
