Wasn't my bed ! To be fair, how can I complain, there was nothing wrong with it, it just wasn't as fluffy and snug as my own, the one I have moulded to my body over the last ten years or so... So it isn't a dislike or a gripe, think I'd probably say the same for every hotel ! Not going to mark it down for that !

Where do I begin ? First point of contact was reception, receptionist was very friendly and efficient, full of useful information, and throughout the week with different receptionists, all exceptional, it felt like they enjoyed working there and were happy to help. The room was ready, even though we were early, and couldn't have asked for more, view wasn't brilliant, but hey ho, what does it matter. Breakfasts were possibly one of the best we have had, simple things like a little pot of nuts and seeds, which my GF loves, I mean a hotel with Ginseng Coffee on tap ! plenty of choice, different each day, restaurant staff were also very friendly and efficient. Hotel was located 20 - 30 metres from the main street, and roughly half way along it, so position was perfect, far enough away from traffic noise etc, yet close enough to be in easy walking distance. Oops, nearly forgot the cleaner, even she seemed happy working there, and the room was spick and span every day.

The breakfast was v good, plenty of choice. Staff were v helpful. The location if this hotel is excellent. Easy access for train and bus stations. Shopping and great choice of restaurants within a 5 minute walk. I cannot praise the staff on reception highly enough. They were really helpful with any questions regarding transport within the region. They even printed train timetables for our convenience.

We like everything. Excelent staff, good location (sometimes noisy neighbours, but windows are isolating), comfortable beds and clean. Basic breakfast, but with quality products.

My room didn’t look much like the photos, shower had a bit of an odor, the gym and car parking are at another hotel that’s about a 3 minute walk.

The stuff was lovely. They were friendly and extremely helpful. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Buffet breakfast offered lots of choices. The hotel is close to restaurants, shops, pharmacy, laundry mat, train station and the water front.

The coffee. The room while spacious and clean, it wasn't very welcoming. The floor had a plastic type flooring on it, the pillows were quite lumpy and the decor just wasn't appealing. Also we only had 1 small & 1 large towel for a couple, I called to reception and was told they were in the wardrobe. Why I don't know as we had booked a double room

Very central hotel, clean and. tidy with reception being very helpful with a fast check in. Breakfast was pretty good apart from the filter coffee which was truly awful. Good selection of eggs etc

No streaming services available. I don’t go on vacation to watch TV, but there are days where it’s cold or rainy or that I simply want to stay in and relax. Having streaming services makes it a bit more comfortable when there are not a lot of options for English speaking shows.

Located in the city center, close to the harbor, the rooms were clean and elegantly designed. The breakfast was varied, featuring fresh products to suit all tastes. The front desk team was very helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

The challenge of finding a parking space.

The staff is outstanding!!! The facility is very good. The location is terrific “ if” you are not driving. Parking is a major challenge and you should definitely reserve a garage space through the hotel. ,

Room where breakfast was served was rather small for the number of guests and on one morning we had to wait to get a table( for 3 people).
