We absolutely loved our two bedroom apartment. The location was amazing, and the staff were so helpful. We didn’t want to leave. We did wine tasting - with breathtaking views across San Gimignano. Location was perfect for visiting Tuscany.

This is a little slice of heaven. Everything is just perfect: location (ten mins walk from town) view from our room was stunning, pool so peaceful , staff friendly and helpful, room and facilities , everything you could need.

Maybe a bit too far to walk to San Gimignano in the heat of summer (more like 15-20 min), but there was a bus stop right outside so it wasn't a big issue. Our apartment was close to another room and we could occasionally hear the neighbors doors that opened/closed. Maybe that was just our room.

We enjoyed the possibility to cook our own dinner and the pool area was very much appreciated. We also borrowed the washing machine (for a 5 euro fee). The views were spectacular and we really felt that we were in the heart of Tuscany.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property

This is our third stay at Fattoria Abbazia Monte Oliveto. It is in an excellent location 10 minute walk into San Gimignano and easy access to Siena, Monteriggioni, and Colle De Val Elsa. The apartment is clean and the kitchenette has everything you need. Marinella is lovely and the grounds and swimming pool are well maintained.

We had a wonderful apartment, very well equipped for our stay. The grounds are quiet and peaceful with great views of San Gimignano and the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Its a quick walk to the historic city and all it has to offer, including great restaurants. The pool is very nice.

The rooms were like mama's home. Waking up on a wine farm, out of this world. San Gimignano, a trip into history with food that is out of this world. A place I will never forget!

Shame the pool was closed as weather was glorious but it did state that the pool would be closed in October.

The hot water service was very loud reheating water after you showered/used the hot water. Hard to find staff sometimes when you needed something , the opening hours for the office seem to be very relaxed and it feels a little disorganised

The place was at walking distance from San Gimignano. Exceptional vineyard stay closest to the San Gimignano fort. Incredible views from every single spot and an amazing infinity pool. Offered us a tour to their vineyard and Leo was very attentive to all our needs.

We’ve been travelling across France and Italy this summer and it was probably the most expensive per night. The road is pretty quiet but it may bother some looking for total peace and quiet.

What a beautiful setting. Easy walk to the spectacular town of San Gimignano but with the peace and privacy of being in the middle of the countryside. the garden terrace is perfect for having your own breakfast lunch or dinner and the pool is perfect! We stayed in the ground floor apartment which had good kitchen facilities which we made the most of. Leo also took us on the vineyard tour and wine tasting which we would highly recommend for just €10, you can literally smell the wine from the garden so it’s worth doing! we would stay here again and recommend to others.
