Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The rooms are tinier than you would think. They were fine for me and my husband because we're minimalists, but they might be too cramped for others.
It's in a great location for first-time tourists. Breakfast has great options, just be sure you select it in your reservation.

Nothing to dislike. I expect some people would say it can be noisy, but it's pretty much the centre of Rome and personally, I wouldn't expect anything else.
Excellent location. 10 minutes walk, at most to Trevi Fountain. Breakfast wasn't included, but the one we did have at the hotel was plentiful, very nice and good value for money.

The rooms were very small. I be wouldn’t want to stay for more than one night, as it was too cramped.
The location was excellent close to main sights.

Room: There were no slippers or sleeping blanket provided, and no toothpaste or toothbrush was available. Breakfast: Communication with the cafeteria staff was limited as they only spoke Italian. It's recommended to arrive early for breakfast, as some items may run out before the end of the service, such as fruits, juice, and bread. Reception: Interaction with the reception staff felt impersonal and robotic. Room Cleaning: The room cleaner arrived to clean the room 30 minutes before checkout on the last day.
Location: The hotel's location was excellent. Room: The room was clean. Breakfast: The breakfast was very good.

Every staff member we came into contact with was friendly and professional making us feel welcome. The room (505) was comfortable and to the rear of the building so street noise was minimal. The hotel is less than 5 mins walk from the Trevi Fountain and surrounded by tourist restaurants and trattoria

The bathroom needs a counter or shelves. I didn't like the room spray they used. I had to leave the window open which was tough because it was a bit noisy outside.
The staff was helpful and very friendly. The location was exceptional although it was a bit noisy outside. The rooms were small and needed a little updating. The bathroom also needed updating. There wasn't any place to put your belongings.

Perfect location, five minutes walking to Fontana di Trevi. Very good breakfast. Big thanks to Otavio (receptionist) he was super helpful and always with a smile!

Everything has been ok
Very clean and very comfortable for a short Roman break. The breakfast was great and the staff were attentive and address any issue reported tobthem cery promptly and efficiently. This hotel is good value for money in Rome. One could pay the same amount for a lousy hotel ….

Elevator is very tight and unpleasent. Makes sense since building is in heart of the city and it follows the architecture.

The heating system was very old and had a bad smell (room - junior suite for 3 adults). Hotel needs renovation because it is a little bit old.
Location was great, short walking distance to Trevi Fountain and all main atractions. Friendly staff, very good cleaning service.

Room was kind of small. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable and the blankets were not covered in sheet (παπλωματοθήκη).
The hotel is in a great location. Breakfast is good and the staff is kind and helpful.

The room got cold in January but the heating worked pretty fast. The room was a bit dark. Maybe it was some construction that was going on (and I didn't really mind), but there was a lot of noise coming from the street all night.
Great location. Everything you may need in a room. And the staff was friendly and attentive! They also managed our requests swiftly :) Comfy bed and many pillows.

Maybe the hotel can provide water heater in the room, for the suite at least :)
The location is great, only 5 mins away from Trevi Fountain, lots of restaurants, gelateria, money exchange, shops. 8 mins walking distance from Piazza di Spagna or Spanish Steps where the luxury shops are. 15 mins walking distance to Monument of Vittorio Emanuel. Also very close to train station. Elevator is small and only fits 2 ppl but it’s okay, since it comes fast and almost no line ever :)
