    All was great!

It was a very lovely stay in Ferro Hotel... The receptionist was very nice and kind to explain to us where to go for dinner. Also the breakfast is TO DIE FOR! I loved it! The room was amazing with a stunning view!

The hotel is difficult to reach by public transport. Although it is close to the railway station there are infrequent trains . No local buses run near to the hotel. Best to have a car if you are staying at this hotel .

    Having to leave.

This is a very stylish hotel next to a very quiet railway station. It's about a 15-20 min walk to the old town. Ample free parking. The rooms are very spacious and modern with a huge walk in shower. Very comfy bed, The breakfast is fantastic with fresh cakes and pastries, ham and cheese, fruit, even an English style toaster and a juicer. It was great. The staff are lovely, very helpful with excellent English. I would gladly stay here again.

Could have used a tea or coffee making facility in the room or drinking water

This is a good modern hotel where everything seems to work....not always what you get in Sicily, The breakfast was good, not just cakes The location next to the station was perfect for us as we arrived and left by train. As there are only a couple of trains a day you are not bothered by train noise. Indeed the hotel was very quiet....very good

Not so easy to find the hotel (it was at the back of the station car park) and was further away from the area with restaurants than we expected.

The receptionist recommended 2 restaurants which were both very good, however she told us they were are 5 minute walk. Turned into at least 15 or more, and in the heat of the day was not pleasant. At night we took a taxi and that was good.

The bed was super comfy. The room modern. The breakfast was the best variety we had in 10 days touring Sicily. The variety was huge, and all local chocolate desserts and even a juicer to juice carrots celery & apples.

Location up near train station was a bit remote, but we easily walked down town for touring around sights and dinner.

This hotel was very smart indeed. The bonus coupon for riding the green tourist train was a nice gesture. Breakfast in the train room was very good indeed. Driving into hotel with onsite carpark was very convenient.

Hotel seems to be in a neglected area but it really was quiet and felt safe.

Ferro Hotel is clean, modern and situated near Modica train station. However you rarely see or hear any. It is really quiet and out of the way (which means it's about 10 min walk to city centre). Breakfast is good with lots of choices and staff make fresh coffee. You also get 'trenino' ticket which is 45 minute ride to see main sight of city around step hills on their tourist train.

Buffet breakfast was really good but staff was slow in topping up (they needed more staff to help in the breakfast) - expected better of a 4* hotel. Receptionist was helping with clearing the tables and topping up since the other waitress was too busy with coffees.

Very modern hotel, clean and good parking which is very important for modica - very busy with traffic.

The location is sooo central. One can go for an early morning walk and window shop and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere on a lovely day. (As I definately do). The fruit & vegetable stalls down below open up very early if one is interested in the likes. The breakfast is so satisfying and they have a lot to offer, although not a cooked breakfast, there is ample food.
