Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

My short stay in Garni Bondi was exceptional. From the moment I checked in, I was welcomed by Helmut, one of the friendliest hosts I've had the pleasure of meeting. He's knowledgeable and gives good tips on how to plan out your Dolomites stay. Rooms: I got a single room, which was comfortable & spacious. I am a deep sleeper so I did not get disturbed by the other guests at all, but I noticed there can be a bit of sound transference - nothing major. Bathroom is clean with good water pressure and adjustable heater. You can drink the tap water here, just FYI. There's also a small safe and the wardrobe doors can be locked for your peace of mind. Location: I think there are a few trails that are just steps away, but because I only planned to do light hikes, I caught the bus to Ortisei daily to get to the cable cars, which took about 30 mins one way. The bus stop is less than a 10-min walk with a slight incline. You get a travel pass with your stay so you can use public transport in Südtirol for free. The town itself is small but it has got the essential things + a few restaurants. It's got a more romantic & cosy feel. The mountain view you get from Garni Bondi's entrance is breathtaking; along with the colourful vibrant flowers that surround the building they make really good backdrop for photos. Facilities: Breakfast is included; Helmut and Marta were very accommodating, helping to cook up fresh eggs everyday. There's a fairly good selection of pastries, cereal, coffee & juice. There's also parking onsite if you need. PS remember to bring some cash to pay city tax or you can withdraw from ATM in town. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Bondi for a memorable experience in the Dolomites!

GermanyNothing really.
My stay was delightful. It was a cycling holiday and I felt very welcome as a cyclist. Everything is within walking distance and then I was able to reach all my coveted destinations from here, and more. I was offered a safe space for the bike. Breakfast is varied and abundant. The owners are flexible and go above and beyond to cater to all your needs so it is much recommended! Bonus points for the perfect cleanliness, the beautiful flower display (stunning!) and the small creek running just outside the building. The sound of the water makes for a very, refreshing zen-like resting experience. Prepare to sleep like a baby!

UkraineThe location is perfect, Dantercepies and Ciampinoi cable cars are easily accessible, so you can ski from the hotel to both Orange and Green rounds of Sellaronda, and ski back down the Nives slope almost to the hotel door. My room was perfectly clean and tidy, the bed was very comfortable, the view of the slope and the mountains from the balcony is amazing. The breakfast was great. The hotel is very homey and charming. And even a supermarket is in less than a 10-minutes walk, and a few nice restaurants along the way.

Czech RepublicA noise from a stream next to a hotel, at least from rooms faced on that side. If you close a window, you don't hear it though. But for those, who like to sleep with windows opened, better to choose an opposite side
A friendly staff, good breakfast, good location for skiers - using small poma lifts starting just next to a house you can get to big ones. Next to a house there is also a ski rental/service and a ski pass sell point. Few min walk and you will be in the city center.

I had such a wonderful stay at Garni Bondi. Helmut and his sister, and the cleaning lady, were very kind to me. The room was comfortable, breakfast was good and the location couldn't be better, located right next to the Bianca Nives drag lift from which you can easily access Dante Cipes or Ciampinoi cabin lifts for the Sellaronda. They also allowed me to upgrade to a larger room for free for part of my stay as it was empty. It was a great stay and I'll definitely be back.

United StatesThis was NOT the fault of Garni Bondi, but there was a lot of construction going on across the street that blocked our view.
The breakfast was very good and always ready when we came down. Our hostess always offered to cook an omelette. Our room was exceptionally clean. the building is right next to a rushing stream which was wonderful to hear and see!

KazakhstanSmall pansion, clean and cosy. Perfect for this money. Location was great - nearest ski lift is about 50 meters from the front door. The supermarket and a few good restaurants are accessible in 3-5 minutes by feet. The down-town of Val Gardena with bars and shops is about 7-10 min walking.

Helmut was an amazing host, there wasn’t anything that was too much trouble. My friend had a ski accident on our first day and he and the staff went out of their way to make her feel more comfortable, taking up breakfasts and lunches for example. Lovely traditional, homely and cosy hotel with all facilities needed for a ski break.
