Toilet in separate room from shower; need to go through main room to get from one to the other. Some like, we happen not to.

Very helpful staff; we needed a laundry, they found one in Mals, a couple of kilometers away, which really helped.

I'm not sure what they were thinking with the design of the room, the bathroom if you could call it that? And the toilet is in the wardrobe?

    Great location

First of all we got a room right under the roof. This means that we had 4 little roof windows which only could be opened electrically. For understandable reasons, the electric opening system was connected with a rain sensor. So when it rained (a few drops of rain was already enough), the windows closed automaticaly and the room became a sauna. Second, the style of interior of the room was design, which is never practical. The room was to small for 2 people, no minibar, to little store room for clothes,shoes,etc.... Also the separation between the bathroom and the toilet was made out of glass. Also the toilet-and bathroom door was made out of glass. So no privacy at all. The wellness facilities are located in another hotel across the street which means that you have to change clothes all the time. The room prices are way to high for this kind of a Hotel !

Great wellness facilities, good food and a fantastic location.

It was not very clear how to use the air conditioning. WiFi reception was weak in rooms at the top floor and in the restaurant, and the thick historic walls made use of 3G/4G internet on the phone also a bit difficult in the restaurant.

We had booked dinner service and were very satisfied with that. A starter, a first, a second, and a dessert are served. It seemed that for very hungry eaters a bit of extra might be available. Breakfast was abundant and tasty, though it seemed to miss eggs (we did not ask, however). The rooms are very interestingly furnished - it's a very unique blend of old and new. There is a huge bike garage (including bike pump), and a washing machine might be available as well (we did not use it). A highlight is the new wellness area in the sister-hotel Belvenu (just next door), which has an outdoor whirlpool with view on the mountains. The Grüner Baum itself also has a roof terrace.

Price. Bad breakfast for 13 euros. No comparison to my stays in France and Germany. Certainly would not consider this hotel again.

    Coming home! However stunning views.

A fantastic hotel in the main square of town. Glurns is a beautiful little town still living within its old walls. Room was nice, clean and large. Very nice restaurant with inside and outside seating. Great sun deck on the roof for you sun bathers. This was a one night transition stop for us, but, I would stay at least two nights next time because there is so much to do in the area. Nice bike paths and hiking trails with maps and bus passes provided by the hotel.

I loved this placed. The hotel restaurant was very good - it was asparagus season and we ate soup, pasta, and with dumplings - all delicious. The breakfast was a nice selection of the usual fare, plus speck and eggs made to order. Glurnz is a lovely spot and you can go for a hike right out the front door.
