Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Italythe shower would fill up very easily and sometimes there would be water all over the bathroom floor
The receptionist was very kind and funny, literally the kindest man i’ve ever met😭. it’s the classic hotel you’d book if you have in mind to only get in the hotel at the end of the day just to sleep, but if you use it for this purpose it’s very good.

AustriaNothing. However, a few tips for travelers: Currently, there's a lot of construction work going on so it's not quite as straightforward to get there as it normally would be but that's not the hotel's fault. Careful if you have a lot of luggage: The lift is tiny (possibly the tiniest I've ever seen) and the hotel is on the 3rd floor of the building.
The room was clean and the location itself is ideal. The bed is super comfortable, there's air conditioning and the room was completely dark at night. The hotel is close to the city centre and to nice restaurants. It's a very dog-friendly place with lovely staff and they even switched back to Italian so I could improve my Italian. Grazie mille e a presto!

I had everything I needed for my short stay in Florence. It's not luxurious, but it's comfortable enough. Good location. Kind staff.

Canadathe coordinates were wrong. my gps put me a kilometre away. The numbers on the street were confusing ( two sets of numbers ,new and old) I asked several times and got directions going both ways 🤔 Finally a nice young man told me that it was at the next plaza, finding the door was difficult. stairs up to the one person elevator. once inside it was ok. You have to buy your water from the machine.
staff was friendly

United KingdomIt was very noisy in the hotel. The water tank makes noises all through the night and the reception desk is in the same corridor as the rooms. So hearing the lady loudly on the phone from 8am and sometimes hoover's at 8.30am wasn't great after 13 hour day trips the night before. Although the room was very clean, the pillow was like a rock and the shower cubicle was tiny (I'm 5"3, slim) I had to shower with the doors open. The main door into the bathroom also didn't shut properly so I had to prop it closer with the chair.
This hotel is great for budget travellers who don't spend much time in the room. It's only a 20 minute walk to the train station and downtown Florence making it easy for sightseeing and any day trips with meeting points at the station. It was very clean and the room had a fridge. The gentleman that checked me in was very friendly also

United Arab EmiratesLift was small (infact very small)....very difficult to carry your stuff to room. Location was far from station from walking perspective with luggage but with taxi its just 5-10 mins but for that you might have to pay 10-15 Euro one way.
Room was fine, not super luxurious but okay. Host was good and supportive in all the ways. If you get it at good price and okay to walk or take taxi to reach hotel from train station it will be fine.

Singaporeit was just a very basic hotel which has very bad soundproofing. ww were given the room directly next to the main door. we could hear every single sound esp of people walking in and out of the hotel. location isn’t super prime too. its 20 mins walk to city centre
the room was considerably large and it has a microwave in the common area. staff was nice too, asked for a kettle and he gladly passed us one

BelgiumI would not recommend it for longer stays. The rooms are not really private sound-wise: street noise and neighbours can be heard. It is a few floors up, with a small elevator, and the overall smell is not really pleasant.
We choose this hotel because of its location snd relatively chesp rate and we were only using it for a one night visit. It fulfilled all our needs.

United KingdomThe hotel did have a funny odour. The room was small and very basic - you’d only want to use it to sleep. Although it was only 15 or so minutes to get to the centre, it was at the opposite end of where the best places were. If you’re not a fan of walking back on a night, it’s not the best location.
