The room was quite dark, which is understandable to keep the heat out and not really a negative if you’re spending all day outdoors anyway. An additional mirror would have been nice as there was only one in the bathroom. The TV was very old and didn’t work but, again, it wasn’t really necessary as we were out all day every day anyway. There was a very noisy inconsiderate group in the accommodation above us who sounded like they were moving heavy furniture around for hours in the middle of the night (3am-ish). We didn’t report this so this doesn’t reflect badly on the hotel.

Great location with stunning views, we stayed here for the MotoGP at Mugello. The drive to the track was around 30 minutes, so easier than staying in Florence. The breakfast was lovely, as was the food at the restaurant and there were a couple of vegetarian options. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The WiFi worked very well in the room and by the pool, there are also sun loungers around the lawns to sunbathe. The town of Firenzuola is very close so easy to pop over if you need something from the supermarket etc - we had a hob to cook on. The two dogs and the cat are lovely!

We missed the mosquito nets from the windows.

The restaurant was great, the meal was the best we had so far in Italy! The location and view were very nice. The rooms were stylish and comfortable. The hosts were very kind and helpful.

Everything fantastic, you just need a car to reach it

Gorgeously decorated room, traditional tuscan furniture and beamed roof. Everything immaculate, excellent value for money. We had a lovely view from our double room on the first floor. A lovely atmosphere, all the guests friendly too. On site restaurant 200m walk down steepish driveway- a worthy restaurant in its own right so no need to drive out if you don't want (although Firenzuola has a lovely restaurant in the main piazza). Can't wait to return, if only all breaks were like this :-)

We really enjoyed our stay here, we stayed a full 2 weeks and visited many places ( Florence, Lucca, Siena, a wine tour etc..)with this as our base. It is very rural which offered a great contrast to a busy city day, giving us quiet days in between, a swim in the pool and just basking in the calm. We saw deer, a fox, glow worms, toads, lizards and a sky full of stars which for us city dwellers was fantastic. The interior of our room was very tasteful. The breakfast was varied and delicious I especially liked the cheesecake and warm shortbread which featured a couple of times but there were lots of savoury options too. Last but not least the staff were very friendly and easy going..and I wanted to take the lovely dog home but could never offer her such a perfect dogs life!!

The complimentary coffee in the hotel was very bitter and quite bad.

The cappuccino in the restaurant was excellent! The. Real fast was also very good and a good value for the money. We very much enjoyed the peace and quiet during the mornings, afternoons, and evenings! The pool and the view were AMAZING!

For an apartment the kitchen facilities were minimal. Just a kettle would be nice. We found we used the restaurant more than self catered.

Great location, comfy bed and good shower, nice pool and a great restaurant! The food was really good and staff were helpful especially the lovely little waitress who was always smiling and happy! The surrounding area is stunning.

The apartments are more oriented for families rather than for friends. Some might complain about finding the place, but if you enter the exact coordinates, you will find it easily. Some complain about how far the breakfast is, but its great for a morning exercise, or you can just go by car.

The location is amazing for those who want to relax, appreciate the beautiful view, nature, and quietness of the region. An excellent place to stay if you want to discover the Mugello region. The owner is amazing and makes a big difference on how you will view your stay.

Noise from the nearby construction, heavy traffic around the area. The road to location is destroyed by the truck traffic. Very poor breakfast choice. Rock-hard beds. Far away from the big cities. To expensive for what is offering.

The view, good food at the dinner restaurant.Large and well furnished rooms. Clean and large pool.

There was a renovation work going on the historic house further up the hill and the track road leading to it was through the property. It was a bit noisy in the morning with the builders vans passing by, so rather difficult if you wanted to have a lie in, but on the other hand, a 'good alarm clock' to enjoy a sunny day in Tuscany from early hours. They were not working on w/end. We would certainly recommend and will come back.

Beautiful place with a great food in a restaurant only a short walk from property. Very friendly and helpful hosts! A place to visit again!

Firenzuola is not the easiest place to reach, a lot of curves when you leave the Autobahn.

Breakfast is served circa 250m down in restaurant and not everyone may like it.

Everyday for the whole week, after the sunset, a herd of 10-15 deer was visiting the meadow below the house. Unforgettable experience.
