The location is absolutely great, Super clean and tidy, The breakfast was excellent! Nice and friendly stuff! All those made our stay pleasant and enjoyable. I hope we will come back in the future.

Hard to not get bathroom floor wet due to the lack of a proper shower door/curtain.

Very friendly and courteous staff. Great location, comfortable room with balcony and windows that opened. Close to the Duomo, Galleria and La Scala. Good selection of breakfast items and nice late afternoon complimentary Prosecco. Complimentary water and juices.

The hotel is a hidden gem located in the city center. Staff were amazing! So polite and helpful. Room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was awesome! Location is wonderful. 6 min walk to Duomo and Milan’s top sights. Shopping and restaurants around the corner. Will definitely return!

Hotel is not lavish but the staff (especially Andrew) and amenities are outstanding. Communication with hotel prior to our stay was great. They set up transportation from the airport which made things very convenient. They allowed us to check in 5 hours early since the room was ready. The mini bar is complimentary. Who does that? Can’t say enough about how wonderful this place was.

I don’t understand how Gran Duca di York is only a 3 star hotel. I have holidayed in Europe countless times and this has been one of the overall most lovely hotels I have ever stayed in. It has old world charm, the staff were incredibly helpful arranging our taxis, helping me arrange a parcel delivery and even offering to put our luggage in the car, they have a plethora of free snacks in the foyer and a fully stocked hotel room fridge in each room with all non alcoholic beverages for free as well as a large vegan slab of excellent quality chocolate. They had an excellent breakfast buffet with some vegan options which I was very happy about. Our room was pristine and the bathroom had every amenity you can think of. I noticed they way the staff interacted with other guests as well being universally kind and helpful. I consider myself someone who is not easily pleased and this hotel genuinely exceeded every expectation. The people who work there can be incredibly proud of themselves and I trust the management values them.

Everything about this hotel was great. Andre on reception was extremely helpful. It was lovely having free drinks available on hot days and the prosecco in the evening was a nice touch.

The bathroom was very small but adequate.

The breakfast was the best of our three week stay, in the most beautiful breakfast room imaginable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Loved the free glass of Prosecco and snacks every night at 6pm. Room was lovely.

The location is perfect, quiet and yet only 5 minutes away from the Piazza de Duomo. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff very friendly and nice.

There wasn't a single thing not to like.

From checking in to departure the whole experience was first class. The mini bar, which contained soft drinks and water, was a godsend, as it was very, very hot in the week we were there. Another nice touch was a nice cool glass of Prosecco, and a few nibbles before we headed off for the evening. Plenty of choice for breakfast, in a lovely breakfast room. Location of the hotel was superb, we were minutes away by foot from all the main sites. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful, and a joy to deal with. All in all a fantastic experience, and we would recommend this hotel to anybody without hesitation.
