The room decoration was fine in the deluxe rooms, the gardens in spite of the artificial grass.

The Concepcion of the new bathrooms is bad, no place to hang pyjamas before taking a shower or the fresh towels, water coming out of the shower cabin which is dangerous, door of the shower open to outside wetting the floor and pulling back the shower towel, no body cream, no hair conditioner , paper glasses to put the toothbrush which fall down easily and some shower towels are very old, besides that not easy to watch TV and not internationals Chanels , no minibar just an empty fridge, no coffee machine just for tea but to drink with disposable paper glasses, and no fitness room. For a deluxe room 4 starts hotel not cheaper than 260 Euros per night with no breakfast it’s too much. I definitely don’t come back to this hotel again.

Some parts of carpet and Walll paper look old and broken.. but i Guess being the hotel that huge It s hard and costly to keep up

Service, room, location

Clean rooms with comfy beds and great view to the lake. Hotel is located 10 mins walk from most of the good restaurants just across street to the Lake. It also has swimming pool and surprisingly good restaurants (we had only lunch there). Parking is paired but you can park for free on the street. It is on relatively quiet location (with focus on “relatively”). Hotel is big and classic. Staff is very helpful. So if you plan to stay at Lake Maggiore- this hotel should be on your short list

Restaurant food was not freshly prepared but was expensive.

The renovated rooms are the best available in the whole of Stresa. Simply stunning and so well appointed with beautiful rooms overlooking the lake.

Outside pool temperature could have been a degree or two warmer!

It’s a great location, everything on walking distance, the renovated hotel rooms are beautiful.

I understand it takes a lot of time and money to renovate a big hotel like this, so downstairs it’s still looks old-fashioned. The newly renovated rooms are gorgeous.
