Good sized room & the toilet & shower all very clean. Swimming pool area was perfect, along with the private beach, where use of sunbeds & umbrella were free. Nice cafe/bar at the beach along with cocktail bar at the pool, we had lovely cocktails in the evening with a selection of tapas, all very good. Great selection for breakfast & receptionists were extremely helpful & friendly

the lido is perfect, the food was really fantastic, if you want to chill out and relax this is a fantastic place to do it, get up, have breakfast, wander down the to hotels Lido, and setup for the day.

The breakfast is honestly not great. The variety is somewhat lacking. The coffee tastes like burned beans and having not a single natural juice, but only flavored water is a let down. The internet was not the best either, especially in the bedroom, but it was enough for what we needed. Main gripe is how loud the radio was in the pool at times. They turn on the radio and you have loud italian publicity screaming in your ears from then on. It's not comfortable and definitely not fitting the place. Also don't understand the logic behind closing the pool for 2h at lunch time and so early in the evening.

It's actually one of the best sound insulated hotels I've ever been in. The inside door to the bed area definitely is great to have and provides some extra comfort. Location is great, right by the beach and walkable to town and dinner spots.

A little kitchen in the room would have been nice. Or at least allowed to use the fridge. Especially as there was no option for dinner if you didn’t have the half board

Brilliant location. Great views. Best beach area. Superb room, bathroom, bed & balcony. Excellent pool & garden. Easy parking. Quick, simple access to beach; free loungers/umbrellas on private beach area. Beautiful tennis court. Great breakfast & dinners. Really nice, kind, polite, helpful & interested staff. Clean sheets daily. Quiet efficient A/C (new). Fantastic value for money. Settled efficiently run hotel (originally the first in Scalea).

I wish they could have provided us with beach towels. I also think the pool needs a clean and the submerged exercise equipment needs to be removed. Charging 5 euro a day if we kept our own food and drink in the fridge.

The 2 rooms we booked were on different floors. 3-bed room was a bit too small. The air conditioning was noisier than normal inside the room. The fish starter at the restaurant on the beach could be better. Mosquitoes were having a feast - but I'm not sure how that can be helped.

Pool and access to private beach. Food and drinks inside the hotel were reasonably priced. The location is very convenient - just 10m walk from the town centre. The hotel facilitates boat ride bookings with a local company whose boats depart from one of the beaches near the hotel. The views from the boat ride are stunning. If you have a car, the national park of Pollino is just 30m away - we enjoyed visiting the river Lao natural reserve. We also enjoyed visiting Diamante, just 20m away by car.

The property however is in need of some renovations as it’s a little outdated. The room was quite small for three people although the balcony with sea view was gorgeous. The bathroom was very small and I must warn that the shower is tiny and if anyone is a bit big, they will struggle to fit inside. The aircon was good but it kept switching off whenever the window was opened for even a second. I think visitors would also appreciate having aircon on in the lobby upon arrival in this very hot time of year.

We absolutely loved the location, the beach, the friendliness and professionalism of all the staff. The breakfast was amazing with everything from cereal to cheese and other sweet and savoury treats. The staff treated us to the breakfast although we had not opted for it. Giusy was an excellent and very kind waitress who also handed in my mother’s sunglasses when she left them in the bathroom. We loved the pool area with the poolside bar too. The lido was fantastic with beach umbrella and deck chairs included in the price of our stay. The beds were comfortable too.
