Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandRestaurant food was average, and doesn’t open until 7.30pm. No tea / coffee in room, and no kettle available. Four fresh towels every day. 28 towels in 7 days … even if you leave them hanging up ! They even take away an opened soap, and replace with new packet ! And …. then, they want to charge € 3 euro for a pool towel !! Bonkers !! Just take a room towel to the pool … you’ll get a new one tomorrow ! I was on 2nd floor. Lower 2 floors renovated, top 2 not. My room advertised ‘with desk’ …. no desk. Did have small round wonky table. …. gggggrrrr …
Great pool.

BelgiumNo coffee machine. You had to order each time whenever you wanted a drink. No fresh juices. No soft boiled eggs.
The breakfast was a classic continental breakfast with personalized service. We were served even though we arrived late to the breakfast room. The staff didn't bother us till we finished and left the breakfast room.

NetherlandsIt had everything we needed, and it was only for 1 night. Very friendly staff, okay breakfast. Bit outdated, but clean and everything works as expected. But if you are looking for a spa day and good massages, then stay here. Book the room that includes the spa access. The spa is amazing, and you will find everything you need and more with this hotel/spa Treatments like facials and massages are extra and not super cheap, but it is so worth it. You want a relaxing day at the spa book here.

Switzerland90s Architecture: The building itself has a dated 90s aesthetic, which might not appeal to everyone The surrounding area isn't the best
Modern Room: Our room was recently renovated and the bathroom was especially impressive. Plenty of Parking: There was ample parking available, which was convenient. Nice Spa: The spa looked inviting, although we didn't have time to use it. Good Breakfast: The breakfast was delicious and provided a satisfying start to our day.

United StatesI booked through Booking and specified 24 hour check in and airport shuttle because my flight was arriving at 10pm. The hotel requested my flight arrival time, but after waiting 45 minutes outside for shuttle they sent a text saying shuttle not available and that I should take a taxi. The taxi cost me 100 euro which was more than my flight to Rome. Hotel said I should take it up with Booking.com I was lucky the taxi accepted credit cards because I did not have that much cash. Make sure that shuttle service is indeed provided by hotel before you make a reservation
The included breakfast was exceptional. Staff very friendly and informative on public transport to Rome. Clean, comfortable and well appointed rooms.

ItalyThe hotel is geared for group travel. We had booked a junior suite, but on arrival seeing it faced a busy road, we paid to upgrade to a suite. The windows were dirty. The shower had no shelf for toiletries; hence opening the door while showering wets the bathroom floor. No Kleenex/similar. One waste basket in whole suite (3 areas). Towels for the pool are charged; chair and umbrella are free. No lifeguard at the pool on day of closure of the hotel spa; pool is open for hotel guests. For two of the three days of our stay there was noisy construction work during the day. If we knew about this in advance, we would not have booked. The hotel management could have offered an apology and some sort compensation for the inconvenience.
The pool: good size and well maintained. Good breakfast buffet. Good restaurant staff service.

NetherlandsIt is not included in the room ( and it costs almost as much as the room to access it - 65€ pp a day). When we did the booking nothing said the spa was an extra. There is no option to add it at when making the booking so we assumed is included. After the booking we received messages from the location with some key information (location etc...) but still nothing about the spa. To be honest this lack of clarity made us we feel scammed. The hotel itself is quite ok and reasonably clean. The spa is also very nice. The staff overall was rude.
The spa was nice but ...

MaltaThis hotel is way past days of its glory. What's left is old, used up and falling apart with the shower in our room unfit for use. Still charging big money for a stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Very disappointing.

ItalyWhile the hotel's services are okay, it's clear that it needs updating. The bed, sheets, and towels are worn out, and the shower is hard to reach. The bathroom layout is awkward, and the air conditioning didn't work, so we had to open the window, which made it noisy at night. In general, the hotel is a bit expensive for what you get. On the upside, they have an electric car charging station and plenty of parking, which is convenient.

MaltaThe bedrooms could do with an update. I didn’t like that I booked a spa hotel and found out when I arrived that you had to pay extra each day to use the spa ! Location was very far out from the centre of Rome, which made it difficult for a taxi to the airport and also very costly . In fact, I checked out a day early to check in another hotel. The purpose of my trip was to relax use the spa, and in fact, it was very stressful, and none of that was achieved .
The hotel itself was nice, spacious, and overall okay. The gymnasium was modern.
